I have no interest in Star Trek whatsoever, but oh my GOD, the cast is so gorgeous, I am all over this. I feel the same way - excellent cast, but I'm not a Star Trek fan... although I've sat through enough bloody episodes to know what's what and who's who, at least. Star Trek has always been one of those shows that I WANT to like, but I'm just not into it; however, I've always enjoyed the movies on some level. Well... some of the movies! |

That fool Chris was my friend's roommate for awhile after they graduated USC, and he is a wonderful actor. Needless to say, my friend is a little bitter since the last notable gig he had was one line on Kath & Kim. I can't wait to see this, I love me some Quinto!

I'm not a Star Trek fan at all (my brother was a Trekkie as a kid, and that turned me off, lol), but I am so going to watch this on opening weekend! The trailer looks awesome.

They showed a pre-trailers commercial for this when I was at the movies last night, and I totally geeked out! It looks like so much fun. And yes, the cast is almost unbearable pretty.

Oh I am SO going to see this movie. I'm an old Star Trek fan from WAY back, the original series. But this looks so damn good.

Mr. Spin and BestMan Spin are lined up to see this in a midnight showing -- so I guess I'll be going, too.
However, I'm a JJ Abrams fan and this looks pretty spectacular, so my arm isn't too twisted.

So did y'all see what happened last night? At the Alamo Drafthouse they were having a showing of Wrath of Khan, and then Leonard Nimoy came out and they surprised the audience and premiered the new movie! God, that would have been so freaking awesome, I bet that audience LOST it.
