I'm not a fan of the one-sleeve thing, but otherwise I like her dress. I'm a sucker for sparkly clothes.

Dating Ant Anstead. I don't really have an opinion on this, except that I hope it really irritates Christina El Moussa Anstead Haack that he traded up for an Oscar winner after she dumped him.

For some reason, I never believe any of her relationships are real--like they're all PR. I like Renee, but when I think of her real life, I always zoom back to 90s images of her in rumpled jogging suits, carrying a large cup of coffee in each hand. Stringy hair. Pursed lips. A constant trudging uphill toward ... something. Like despite her talent and affluence, life is really very hard.
It makes me sad.

She’d been dating Austin musician Doyle Bramhall II for what seemed a long time. I’m wondering what happened there.
ETA: Looks like they dated from 2012-2019.

Sarah Paulson apologized for using a fat suit and prosthetics to play Linda Tripp in American Crime Story and said she should not have accepted the part. I disagree with her - she was great in the role, and I'd much rather watch her than some hypothetical anonymous chubby actress. She added a little bit of middle-aged chubb, changed her hair and wore glasses - that seems to me to be well within the bounds of appropriateness for an actor. Representation does not need to be taken as far as many people want it to be taken.
I also like Renee Zellweger and would probably rather watch her than someone else in a lot of things, but it has gotten weird that she keeps playing significantly overweight characters, especially when she herself is so incredibly thin. It's always distracting when a glamorous actress has been blatantly un-glamorized in a really drastic way.
