And while we're on that subject, please do likewise for Jason Isaacs. I thought he was terrific in Awake, and the show had an intriguing premise. I'm sorry it's cancelled.

You may have already seen it, but perhaps you can comfort yourself by watching Case Histories? It's a British mystery series Jason Isaacs did that aired last fall on PBS. In fact, when I first heard about Awake (which I ended up really enjoying) I was bummed to hear he was doing an American show because I didn't want anything to interfere with his starring in more episodes of Case Histories. Apparently the BBC has ordered more episodes that are supposed to air some time this year.

I think I read somewhere that the ratings for CSI Miami were still pretty good but CBS has so many successful shows that it didn't need it anymore. The one thing that may kill reality shows is that the demographics who watch them skew old and the trend is they get older every year. Now I know I had said that it is stupid for Hollywood to ignore older people and they should make more shows for them. But I will make an exception if it helps kill the whole reality show trend. I am glad to hear the tv adaptation is good. I will have to check it out. It looks like they have done the first 3 books so there is one more that they can do. And the last book was really good.

Jeremy Northam has a great role in the new British series White Heat, though I don't know when or if it'll air in the US. It's a very good series.

Dear Hollywood, WTF?I know Tyler Perry makes a shitload of money, but he is in no way, shape, or form Alex Cross. Hell, bringing Morgan Freeman back would make more sense.

My question is: what in the hell did they do to Matthew Fox?! That doesn't even look like him.

Dear Hollywood,
why are you so in love with Channing Tatum? Why? What am I missing?

Me, also. He perpetually looks like someone told him a joke he didn't understand.
