You know, kind of damages his credibility when he goes to talk to her children. What does that even have to do with getting a career in Hollywood?
I'm not a mother, but I know I would go apeshit if some stranger went to my children's school and spoke to them.

American VM fans shouldn't complain. Canadian fans, depending on their cable provider, might have to wait until April for the new episodes to air.

But isn't that what VM fans do best? Complain? "Why are you watching any other show but Veronica Mars? It's the best show, ever. How can you not see that?" "It's so unfair that Veronica Mars is so good and yet people won't watch it." I have never boycotted a show simply because of fan reaction but I refuse to watch VM because I am so tired of the VM fans and their whining.

They are the ultimate in the persecuted. lol. The trials they have to go thru...it's amazing.
That's why I don't watch the show. I think many of the fans are irritating. The show isn't awful, but its not the best.

I have tried to watch Veronica Mars on three different occasions, and thought it was OK, but not anything I needed to watch with regularity or found that mind-blowing. But then I barely watched Buffy, Friends, and a ton of other shows that someone my age is supposed to be obsessed with.
Oh, I would like to apologize for some of those scary Arrested Developement fans out there. I watch the show and really enjoy it, but if you don't that's cool, we can still hang. I won't even ask you why or tell you about the show or secretly think poorly of you. Promise. No, really.

We could totally use this boards to talk about how awesome the shows are while bashing the fans at the same time. It sucks that baseball is going to interfere with both for the next month or so, but I'm not gonna flip out about it.
Topic? Someone actually posted the Joss grocery list on the other site and the only comment was "that's odd." I so wanted to tell them it's parody, but the fact that it's so believable is too awesome to interfere with. Also, the oft-linked CTC fan thread is the epitome of this thread.

If a half hearted, unfinished, poor quality recording John Lennon did before he dies be dusted off and released as a "New Beatles Single" then Joss's shopping list looks not such a bad deal. Half Fat Milk is obviously meant as a metaphor for.... something or other. Help me out here, people!

But then I barely watched Buffy, Friends, and a ton of other shows that someone my age is supposed to be obsessed with. I never got into Buffy or Friends for that matter. I do have this friend who is a rabid Buffy fan. When I told him that Alias was my favorite show (at the time), he went all rabid on me. "Well, Alias is an homage to Buffy, Jennifer Garner said so. If you can watch Alias, you can watch Buffy" I had never heard that and haven't read it yet. I just took his word for it, because he's obsessed. But not like I care, I still don't like Buffy and I still like Alias and Jennifer Garner more.

My only rabid fan moment came when someone suggested that Mulder might have had a tumble or two with Maria Convarubbias, and I got all antsy saying that he'd never betray scully like that. I guess what really bugged me was the implication that if Mulder didn't find Scully attractive, then there was no hope for us brainy chicks. I was wrong: Mulder's true love was Krycheck
