I read this and I call bullshit. I'm glad Star ran that article and called these people out. There is no way I am going to believe that Mary-Kate Olsen hasn't had a relapse. I mean, look at her. The Lohan quote I can believe. But Brittany Murphy denies that her weight loss is due to coke. Then there's all these quotes by her of her denying coke use. Nice, but she still doesn't address her extreme dieting and skinniness.

Phyllis Diller was on a watermelon diet (eat as much watermelon as you want, but nothing else). When Liberace began to get sick and lose weight, his spokesperson claimed he was on the Watermelon Diet too. I'm pretty sure his passing away soon afterward probably put people off that particular diet until they found out his real cause of death.
I don't know anyone who would be able to stick with only eating ____ for more than a couple days. I'm convinced Diller is full of shit and was tucking into a bucket of KFC by noon on Day One.
Julia Child was against "diets," but she kept to a regiment of eating small portions of rich food (with the occassional In-N-Out Burger and a beer) to stay slimish. That sounds fantastic. To be fair, she was like, what, 10 feet tall, so chances are she was not going to lose her shape easily.

Nature, my Aunt Imogene's corset. Nicole is getting her diet tips straight from Colombia, if you know what I mean, and I think you do. And P.S., eight stone is about 112 pounds. For someone who is 5'10" that's pretty thin.

Yesterday I read in Us Weekly that Liz Hurley is so hungry, she goes to bed crying every night. Apparently she admitted this outright. Now, I'm not saying Us Weekly is trustworthy, but this one, I can definately believe.
That's really fucked up.

That doesn't surprise me about Liz Hurley. She has some insane body image issues. I read an interview with her where she said although Marilyn Monroe was pretty, she would "kill herself" if she were ever that "fat". Kinda sad that when she thinks of Marilyn Monroe, all she thinks about is her jean size.

No kidding. Marylin Monroe is still a big sex symbol, I don't see why anyone would kill themselves for looking as great as she did.
I mean, Britney Spears is not nastily thin, but she still looks cute. And she can look a lot like Marylin Monroe with a great makeup/hair job.

That's not pretty thin. That's ridiculously thin. I'm 5'4" and 110 pounds and I'm really thin. With only an extra two pounds to cover six inches she must look emaciated naked. That's so sad. She's doing so much harm to her body. I can't imagine what her bone health is going to be like when she's older.

My God, just looking at Nicole Kidman's weight makes me hungry. In order to be that thin she has to literally NEVER eat. That is incredibly medically unsafe.
I rememeber at the old board the stories about how models would eat cotton, because it fills them up and has no calories. Well, I never totally believed that, but I was watching the show Fat Actress and it had Kelly Preston's character eating tissues for dinner, so I guess it must happen somewhere. Cracked me up for hours.

Ergh. This is a very fucked-up world when someone can reach the heights of, say, a Nicole Kidman and not eat enough out of choice.

I just want to report that I saw Sandra Oh diving into some very rich, cheesy French Onion Soup mere days before the Oscars. So it's nice to know that some actresses are naturally skinny.
It's so sad that with near-unlimited resources/money, so many celebs go to extremes when they can hire trainers, eat properly, have a chef, etc.
