Why Aren't You More Famous?

It's nice seeing Heather Headley love. She went to my university and she always stole the show in productions.

I wish Perry Shen would get some leading roles. He kicked ass in Better Luck Tomorrow. And I know Parminder Nagra is on ER and all, but she acted circles around Keira Knightley (and was way prettier, too) in Bend It Like Beckham, but look who gets Oscar nominations and magazine covers.

And speaking of Bend it like Beckham, the actress who played Parminder Nagra's sister, Archie Panjabi should definitely be more famous. She's beautiful, she's really talented and she's been in a lot of good stuff in her career. Love her.

Andre Braugher should be famous. He was so wonderful on Homicide and one of the best things in Duets. I thought by now he'd have an Oscar. Wake up Hollywood!!

Agree about Michael Pitt, Ryan Renolds, Scott Speedman and Parminder Nagra.

I also think Chris Meloni deserves more acclaim for his part in L&O:SVU. I don't see why they nominate Mariska Hargitay every damn year, and he's only been nominated once.

Aidan Gillen has acted the hell out of everything I've ever seen him in.

Word to this! Homicide is the best television show ever -- it blows The Sopranos out of the water. So many good actors on that show, but Braugher was the best of the best.

Yeah, that seriously blows my MIND! Have these people not seen Oz? Which, I really don't begrudge Mariska the attention she gets at all because she seems like a cool person, it's just so bafflingly lopsided.

Aidan Gillen has acted the hell out of everything I've ever seen him in.

His delivery of the line "Are you going to kick my 'ass'?" in Shanghai Knights makes me giggle whenever I think of it.

Guy Pearce. The guy can act the pants off of almost anything. Also, I was surprise to see that nothing became of Laura Harring's career after Mulholland Drive.

ITA with everyone about Parminder Nagra. I recently watched Bend It Like Beckham again, and if someone had told me that Keira Knightley would be the break out star, I wouldn't have believed them.
