The site's back up, and the featured tract is about moonshine and cars!

Sweet Mother of Pearl. I'd say Chick has finally lost it, except, well, I don't think he ever had it. But Thanksgiving as a religious holiday? Squanto speaking English? Junkies, juvenile delinquents and gays united in their disbelief against the uncle? Jesus keeps my heart beating? Partying demons? Is he even trying to make sense anymore?
I... I just... wow. I have no words.

Well, Squanto DID speak English. But the rest of that is just... incredible. The historic references are wrong (where the pilgrims landed was cultivated farmland, not "nothing but rocks, trees and wild animals") and seem written by a second grader. Chick's thought patterns really just ramble through this one, don't they? It must be terrible to see the people in the world around you as such ugly charicatures of evil.

Seriously. The man's gone off the deep end.
I'm amused by the total randomness of this tract. "My blood sugar's low!" "I've got PCP and crack, how much you got?" and that random "Kiss me!" thrown in the 12th page. Huh? And what does the title "The Missing Day" have anything to do with this? Was Thanksgiving really ever our "most honored" day? Wouldn't that be, oh I don't know, Chrismas? Or Easter?
Aaaagh, my head hurts.

I thought this was a spoof. I was laughing at the cartoons, thinking "This guy's funny!" And (forgive me) I was amused that people here were naive enough to think it was for real. I was utterly shocked to look deeper into it to see that this guy is serious. These cartoons are meant to save your soul!
This is what he considers a realistic depiction of evil: A Thanksgiving dinner with two leering kids skulking around discussing how much crack they have between them and another kid complaining that her blood sugar's low... ?

Of course: you can't spell "insulin" without SIN.

Well, Squanto DID speak English. Ah, you're quite right. Squanto lived in England for years. Shame on me for not looking it up before. But Chick made it sound as though God hooked him up to a Universal Translator.
