The first ever Chick Tract I ever read was the one in which we 'find out' that Allah is a MOON GOD, and not the arabic word for 'God' as I've been lead to believe all these years, hehe... That's the only one I've seen. I actually found it (and several other copies) tucked into some sweaters that were folded on a table in a department store. I got a good chuckle out of it, but wondered how many people actually believed it - this happened about a year after 9/11 and I'm sure there were plenty of people ready and willing to believe that all Muslims were baby-eating Moon God-worshippers. Wow! I am always fascinated to hear that people find real, live Chick tracts outside of the internet. I had never seen one until somebody sent me a link (not in an evangelical way, more in an "OMG do you believe this shit?" way). |
