My main frustration is with the Elders. Do they take forever to croak or what? No offense to real-life elderly people, of course - but this is a game, and it's supposed to be fun, not depressing, right? I swear, one of my founders wouldn't die. I wanted that platinum urn/grave, so I kept having to lock his biggest wants just to unleash them when he dared to go into gold. The headmaster disappeared from my lot and wouldn't come back, so one of the major wants [have his kid go to private school] was out of the question. The one want that kept working was him WooHooing with his wife, who I was severely neglecting at this time, by the way. The founder was a Fortune Sim, so by the time he finally croaked, I had brought [and sold] 2923812938 shrubs, flowerbeds, and trees. But he died in Platinum. And then proceeded to haunt the house that very night, causing his much distressed wife to relieve herself in an undignified manner and making his daughter [who had gone into Aspiration failure since her big fear was a relative dying] exhausted the next day. Damn you, Vincent Sacrimoni!

Oh God, I hate it when the ghosts come back and cause my Sims to pee themselves or nearly have a heart attack! (Or when the ones I drowned make a mess all over the place.) I don't think I've ever achieved a Platinum Grave, because they usually want things that I honestly cannot give them. Like one of my Sims whining for another baby when she was only a day from becoming an elder.

I think it is the day of their birthday is when you can use that.I do all the time cause I hate throwing parties, the only way for me to get a high score is for a couple of sims to Woo Hoo or have everyone in the hot tub. Speaking of sim babies, my core family had twins last night, Gawd damnit...Now I am making an old lady to move into the house and take care of the babies.

My Sims have never had twins, not even through attempted cheat codes. I'm sad.
I also suck at throwing parties, and going on dates in Nightlife.
I must say, though, I really like the new "What do you want to do?" dialogue option (or whatever it is) for Nightlife. Hot Date was so tricky because my dates, who I couldn't control, would always have to go to the bathroom, but they would never go!

My Sims have never had twins, not even through attempted cheat codes. I'm sad. Don't be - they are hell. It's not so bad when they're babies and sleep all the time. But practically all my parents have nervous breakdowns when the babies become needy screeching toddlers. There's barely any time to eat, sleep, go to the bathroom or shower - so forget about having fun or socializing! Or working on skills. I always move a family member or two back into the house to help, if I can.

I had one Sim who had twins twice. Needless to say, I lost all 4 to the social worker.

Gah!I had gotten Family fun crap as a gift from a friend and after installing it, even with all my graphic driver updates and what not, it still isn't high enough.I am flooded with flashing red walls. So now I may be shelling out lots of cash in order to keep this add on or get any future Sims EPs. The funny thing is, is that we bought this computer only a year ago.

Toddlers aren't that bad-- just hire a nanny to raise them. Then if you actually want to teach them something, feed them smart milk and do your thing.

See, I could never figure out how that Smart Milk thingie works. My Sims make it alright - but then, instead of giving it to their toddlers, they put it in the fridge. And then feed the toddlers regular milk. What gives?!

That's weird-- I usually select 'Make Smart Milk for X,' then they either hand it to the kid in the highchair or place it on the floor for them to drink. Are you making it for the kid when it's still in the crib? That's the only game-thing I could think that might make them do that. Or you have a weird glitch in your game... maybe next time, when the Sim is holding the green bottle, click the action box to cancel it-- see if they just set it on the floor, then have the toddler crawl over and drink it.
Oh, and if the smart milk is ever red-- throw it away and don't feed it to them. Red makes them lose points.
