I still have yet to get the last three expansions for The Sims 1! I had to take it off of my computer anyways because it was just taking up way too much hard drive space. If I get the chance to upgrade to a bigger hard drive and more memory though-hooboy.
I love my Simmies, even though it's outdated. I had countless Ewan McGregor heads.

In OFB, how do you properly install the elevator? I can't figure it out for the life of me.

I like having Servos, but I hate how you tell them to do something and they stop and go cook something.

Er, I can't get into The Sims' gameplay at all for some reason. It's just too hard for me. Maybe it's because I kinda suck at real life, and the game is a real life simulation....so I end up being really slow and bad at it. I use every cheat code in the book, and I just like going at my own pace. I don't see how everybody gets their characters to have these fabulous careers and such. I'm much, much better with fantasy-based games.
But I still love the game, 'cause it's fun to make characters based on your friends and stuff. It's also really cool to make celebs.

Is there any way to age a Sim? I somehow ended up with two kids and four babies in one house and I don't have the patience to let them grow naturally.

Well, here's the Boolprop cheat - use it at your own risk. I've never tried it, but I've heard that some Boolprop cheats could mess up your game. Here is a hack that allows you to age some Sims through a painting. The other way that I know of involves the Elixir of Life - if you have your Sim drink it [can kids drink it? I know teens can] when s/he is below the Gold Aspiration level, there is a greater chance of the Sim being aged 3 days. The lower the Aspiration level, the higher the chance that s/he will be aged.

If you have the Nightlife expansion installed, you can use the agesimscheat [on/off] which adds "set age" to the interaction menu when you click on a sim.

I know there's a point where the "Grow Up" option comes up when you are playing as the child Sim and click on it. Not sure when, though.
My main frustration is with the Elders. Do they take forever to croak or what? No offense to real-life elderly people, of course - but this is a game, and it's supposed to be fun, not depressing, right?
