Toddlers aren't that bad-- just hire a nanny to raise them. Man, I've had some horrible nannies. You see the stink-waves coming off the kid and there is my nanny, watching TV without a care in the world. I finally caught the Grim Reaper using my toilet, right after he killed off a couple that I kind of tortured to death. He flushed! How polite.

All my nannies suck. They're off using the bubble blower or playing electric guitar or pissing themselves while my toddlers are falling asleep on the floor! What I hate is when stupid Calista will pick up the toddler, carry it TO the crib, then set it down next to it and wander off to set the kitchen on fire making lobster thermidor. Bitch.

Wow. I have never had that problem with my nannies. Though mine will let the baby fume with feces, and feed them a bottle instead of changing them. Annoying. But mostly they just just the kid in his crib or feed it. The amount of TV they watch also annoy me. But it's better than raising them myself. Heh.

Sometime when you tip them, they will do a better job.

I tend to feed bad hired help to my Cow plant. I do miss the butler from Sims 1 when you got Superstar. That guy did it all for you, and he looked so cute in his gardening hat.

I must say, I love the food-making options in Sims 2. I try to get my Sims up to the highest cooking level (once I used a cheat to keep them happy while making them study cooking for three days straight with no breaks). Then they can make everything, and it's so cool to watch! I love how all the foods have different preparation now. It makes me hungry, though. Especially if they make something tasty like hamburgers.

OK, so I started a new family, the Del Toros. It started off with Lorelai Del Toro, who ended up marrying Steven, aka Pink Maid Dude. They initially planned to have one kid to carry on the family name - this would be Benicio Del Toro, who grew up splendidly, even though he turned into a Romance Sim. Smart, handsome enough, and very sweet.
Now, the reason that they were planning to have just one kid was because their Creator, me, hates having a bunch of kids around. I just don't have the patience for the training and the crying and the diaper-changing and yada yada yada. However, the Creator was a bit too busy watching a baseball game and accidentally clicked on "Try For Baby" instead of "WooHoo." The fertile Lorelai immediately heard that Lullaby of Baby Doom.
So, out comes Elizabeth Del Toro, who, after the first day, refused to do anything the Creator or her parents told her. She's complaining about having no fun - well, OK, play with your toys or the rabbit head. Why aren't you playing with your toys or rabbit head? Why are you just sitting there and doing nothing? Don't walk away! And so on.
Elizabeth did grow up well, although, God bless her, she's stupid compared to her older brother. And she has Steven's nose, which: blech.
So with two kids off at school, there should be some calm around the house. And this would be the case, if it wasn't for stupid Steven's need to go looking through the telescope while his Creator is off arguing with his daughter.
Yep, alien abduction, complete with pregnancy. He gave birth to a little boy, Mulder Del Toro, who has actually been the cutest toddler of them all. Still, now I have to train him and get him into private school and all that junk. I did seriously consider making him the heir, but he won't be able to pass on Lorelai's custom eyes [which the other two kids have]. He still has the green skin and the completely black but regularly-shaped eyes, which are special in themselves.
I do love the fact that when a Sim is abducted, his/her aspiration level and needs fluctuate widely. I was afraid Steven was going to die up there during a certain point.

Heh. Alien babies are special. Mine seem to be super-smart too when I get them. My Sim Lucius Malfoy was abducted and had twins! Sometimes he still cries about it but overall he seems to be quite the caring father.

How do you get them abducted? I've tried building them a tower and putting the expensive telescope in it, but no luck. Is there a certain time it happens?

How do you get them abducted? I've tried building them a tower and putting the expensive telescope in it, but no luck. Is there a certain time it happens? Steven was on the patio in the backyard when he got abducted, so I don't know if putting the telescope high above the ground actually does something. From what I've read on other sites, you should have your Sim gaze through the telescope between 7 pm and 2 am and there's a 5% chance of abduction. If you're on it for a while and nothing is happening, stop the action and try again. Unless, of course, your Sim is one of those that gets abducted the first time he stargazed at night, STEVEN. Of course he cries - they're obviously not Pureblood. As soon as he gave birth, Steven spun up the "Have 10 Kids" want. He must be joking.
