And, there is the fact that we have the same 15/15 rule here.
We're just not draconian about enforcing it.

As weak as FT has been recently (and, really, Celebrity vs. Thing? Come the hell on), I thought her dissection of the Details and EW treatment of CTC recently was quite fine. She's still a good writer, and the Mediator today was what FT does best: Analysis of celebrity and their (and our) fascination with same.

Only 3 hours, such a slacker.
I don't get the "couldn't have paid ads things". Also, where was the we should have let them know that the stickers sales were lagging.

Maybe if more people let her have it about the Celebrity v. Thing, they'll stop doing it. She can use that time better doing...something else.

If Wing's time is so valuable that she couldn't be bothered to moderate the forums for 3 hours a day, why couldn't she appoint additional mods? There certainly were enough favored posters who I'm sure she could have trusted to help out. But again, no one said that moderating was a problem, just like no one said that the OODT's were really essential not just "it would be nice if you could". The whole situation comes off with a really yukky feeling about the FT forums, which at one point were really cool. Sniff.

Ah yes, and typically, all the sycophantic comments following the post pick apart the guy's spelling/grammar etc., and none of them deal with the issue that yeah, Wing Chun and her crowd fucked the Fametracker forums up the ass THEMSELVES and then blamed it on the people who posted there and enjoyed it. That sucks, and no amount of faux-blase chatter from Wing changes that.
Ugh.

I am glad I'm not the only one that noticed the poster's comments to the letter which was, admittedly, kind of stupid, but ugh. Sycophants is right.

I don't get the "couldn't have paid ads things". Also, where was the we should have let them know that the stickers sales were lagging. That would involve caring about the boards instead of using them for ego-based esteem.

The fame audits aren't dead. There is a new one on Lindsay Lohan posted yesterday. Today a H!ITG was posted on the recently departed Lane Smith.
