Awwww! I like finally seeing him with her ("possibly") daughter! I was thinking terrible things towards MD's gf since it seemed like all she ever did was follow him around everywhere.......I couldn't help wondering what the heck she was doing with her daughter (soap opera syndrome-pop them out then stick them in some back room while you go on with your life-or something....)

I remember how everyone was snarking about Lucy, saying how all she needed to do was get preggers and she would be on easy street for the next eighteen years, if not for life. Now it sounds like she's going to hit a bigger jackpot by marrying him.

Since a whole lot of women think he's hot, even on our little board here, why is it so hard to believe that Luciana might think likewise. And a few weeks, months, years of a guy being nice to you works wonders in the falling-in-love department. Certainly a "jackpot" but not tallied in dollars.

NEW YORK - Matt Damon and his girlfriend, Luciana Barroso, are engaged, Us Weekly reported Monday

A publicist for the "Bourne Identity" actor told the magazine that after dating for two years, Damon popped the question "shortly before Labor Day."

Damon's publicist, Jennifer Allen, didn't immediately return a call from The Associated Press late Monday.

The couple haven't set a wedding date, Us Weekly said. It would be Damon's first marriage. Barroso has a daughter, Alexa, from a previous relationship.

Damon's screen credits also include "The Brothers Grimm," "Ocean's Eleven" and "The Talented Mr. Ripley."

He shared a screenplay Academy Award with his friend Ben Affleck for 1997's "Good Will Hunting."

Matt Damon strikes me as one of the few famous people with his head screwed on straight, especially proportional to his level of fame. Although I still can't get my head around him and Winona Ryder -- he's not represented by Pat Kingsley or something, is he???
