I went to imdb to fact check for a post and look what I found! I love this series. So easy to fall for a guy like Jason. He can kick anybody's ass and you get to travel.

Ah, sweet, sweet Matt. I hope all the folks with the piggy jokes show up. As much as I love him, the pig jokes rule. I'd gladly bear his piglets.
Great news about the new Bourne film, heavenwithagun. Can't wait for it!

I don't care much for the pig jokes. He really is turning into something special. I didn't get the Matt thing until I rented All The Pretty Horses. Billy Bob Thornton did a great job of showcasing Matt's lovely and amazing beauty. Too bad the film was DOA.

Don't like Matt. Can't get myself to like him no matter how I try to see what other people seem to see in him.
He just looks like a fratboy.

I've heard that this movie would have been 10 times better if people were allowed to see the "Director's Cut", but it ended up being too long for theatrical release (about 3.5 to 4 hours, I think).
I'm pretty sure MD was the one who said that, though I think it was also voiced by others involved with the movie.
I've never seen it, but I can imagine how much better the D.C. version probably is. For those who think AtPH stunk, imagine having the three original Star Wars movies squished into one two hour movie...I don't think SW would have such a cult following if large chunks of the movie were dumped in order for it to "fit" into a standard movie time - you lose a lot, even if many of the dumped scenes are only "transitional".
Too bad they didn't release the D.C. version on DVD.

SnarkyTheFugDog, I couldn't make it through even a third of the film, it was soooooo boring. Another hour or two wouldn't have helped me.
I like Penelope Cruz and wanted to see her but turned it off after just one of her scenes. And, I don't consider that her fault.

I read in yesterday's NYT that he was pissed about this season's Project Greenlight. Specifically he didn't like the movie that was chosen. Apparently the winning movie is a horror flick. Dimension films a subsidiary of Miramax is distrubiting it. [/spolier]. He is quoted as saying, "This isn't the reason I got into film making". I would love to see the reaction of the screenwriter and director of the winning flick as he says that.
P.S. I spoilerized it incase people want to find out as the show progresses who wins.

Richard Chamberlain's name came up on another thread. Did anyone see his version of The Bourne Identity that was done for TV with Jaclyn Smith? It was excellent and a good deal more romantic than Matt's version. Some fan did a pretty good review at the link above from imdb.

The commercials with Wes Craven say that this season is a horror movie, so it's no secret.
