Yeah, that thing was a whole big muddle, that I'm pretty sure Minnie Driver kicked up for sympathy.

First she claimed that she had no idea that they were broken up until Matt said so on Oprah. Then that got changed to something like "they were on a break" but Minnie didn't realize that it was a permanent break or something like that. Anyhoo, it sounded like she was back-pedaling a bit.

I used to really like Minnie Driver around the Circle of Friends, Big Night, Grosse Point Blank era, but then she went "Hollywood" and started to suck, then her career pretty much tanked.

Skylar, however, was an self-entitled stuck-up bitch, according to my cousin's wife, also a Harvard alum.

My good friend used to hang with Matt a bit during his Harvard days (she dated a friend of his). She always said Matt was darling but Skylar… well, she wasn’t. Evidently, she was a bit full of herself.

Probably because she was supposedly studying to be one when she met Matt. It's the same shit as when Cris Judd was a back-up dancer before getting with Jlo, but after marrying her, he was a choreographer.
