I AM SO JELLUS!
I've heard of the Sweet Valley Bible, and have a deep desire to steal it. Okay, or at least read it. Can you get it, spenner? Huh? Huh? Huh?
Yet even with the SVB, they still managed to fuck a whole bunch of stuff up, didn't they?
I should know this, shouldn't I? *pondering*

It's sad that I'm actually spending time thinking about what character this could be.
I've also heard about the SVB, but I didn't think it was real because the writers did screw up a lot of stuff.
I love going book-shopping at thrift stores, and I'm irritated at myself because I keep buying the same two SVU books, ones that I already have. I never remember if I have them or not, so I get the new one. Anyone need SVU #6 or #7? ;D

I remember reading these books in grade 6. Literally, in my grade 6 classroom. I'd bring one in in the morning and read it under my desk and finish it by the time school got out.
No, I didn't do that well in school that year.

I can't ever recall which ones I've already bought either. I wound up with 2 of the Christmas ones where Mike tries to get Jessica back. Could it be Amy? I can't recall her lat name but she was bookwormy like Elizabeth in the Sweet Valley Twins series and then became sort of a partying cheerleader slut in the high school series. Regina Ken Todd Bruce Patman Winston Penny Annie Whitman victim of Jessica's lies ETA: Lois Waller

Wasn't Robin fat but lost a bunch of weight and got really hot?
I don't think Amy was mentioned in SVH until after the SVT books started. She was a cheerleader in SVT books, too, but the Unicorns tried really hard to keep her off the squad but her mad baton twirling skillz won them over.

#7 is "Good-bye to Love" and #6 is "The Love of Her Life." I have two or three copies of each and they're taking up uneccessary space on my bookshelf I have a bunch of other doubles too that I will gladly give away...anyone is welcome to PM me about them! I looked at Wikipedia's SV page for a list of characters, but I don't remember anyone being really different from one book to the next.

Yeah, but spenner said "quite early on" so I'm thinking it's gotta be in the first ten books.... And- OMG! I'M LINKED FROM THAT WIKIPEDIA PAGE! Dudes!

Go Dwanollah!!!
I don't think there's a hope in hell of getting hold of the SV bible, but hey, you could probably come up with a more accurate and detailed one yourselves, based on the comments in this thread!
She didn't say which character it was, but it was a fairly minor female character whose hair and eyes changed colour and they got tons of letters about it. I would guess that it was in one of the earlier books, though, because they got the bible going quite early on.
I can't believe we're trying to work out what is effectively a blind item about a minor character in the SVH series.

Oh! It was Mandy what's-her-name, who sort of was Winston's girlfriend in Book 6. She was a redhead in one book, and had dark hair in another! I know you aren't judging me, missy.
