Bella's a surrogate for the reader. Basically, she's a Mary Sue who managed to escape the fanfic ghetto and be in a published work. True facts, you speak them. She has zero personality (except for the, OMG, clumsiness!) so that anyone could identify with her. Blah. You stink, Bella.

Just wiki it, cabbagekid. You'll be saved 499 pages of "blah blah blah." Okay, I just wikipedia'ed it. It sounds awful. I don't think I can go through Eclipse and Breaking Dawn, I don't have enough patience.

I might just finish the series-as long as I have something decent to read along side it. *sigh*
(Plus, isn't there a C-section by teeth?)

I hate to say this, Guin, but, yes. If they ever make BD into a movie it will have to be NC-17. haha.

I think Stephenie Meyer has a really fucked up view of motherhood, sex, marriage and relationships.

Well, she did give an interview once saying that if Edward or Jacob ever came to her door, she'd leave her husband in a minute.
Riiiiiight, Stephenie. Never mind that they're YOUR creation.

Parts of it are worth reading. You can skip over all the telepathic "werewolf" conversations that go on for pages, and skim everything after the birth--or better yet, read the snarky summaries online.
