Well, she did give an interview once saying that if Edward or Jacob ever came to her door, she'd leave her husband in a minute. Riiiiiight, Stephenie. Never mind that they're YOUR creation. If she, Anne Rice and Laurell K. Hamilton all got together in a room, what would happen?

It really is worth reading because of all the LOLz. That too. I just got to the part where he admits he watches her sleep. WTF? Even when I was seventeen, I wouldn't have found that romantic-I would have been terrified! Especially because he wouldn't have been able to get in without my dog going apeshit. (And Lassie, unlike Lexie, the Westie we have now, didn't sleep in a crate) Plus, what if he ate my cat or something?

Cracked.com has some awesome pieces on the whole series.
I'm still bitter because this wench is published, and I am not. *foot stamp*

Plus, what if he ate my cat or something? No way. Does your cat's blood smell like freesia? I don't think so! Somebody elsewhere said that freesia actually smells like Froot Loops, which makes the whole thing funnier somehow. Edward is attracted to sugary cereal!

Well, really. Who isn't attracted to sugary cereal?
You'd better get on the ball, Dwan. Books don't write themselves!
I think I'm going to write a book about zombies that glow in the dark, that don't eat brains. Yessiree. The zombie market is horribly under tapped.

I was thinking that the sheer volume of Mary Sues in one room would melt down the world in a clash of sparkly blood and guns.

Apparently, someone asked about her period, and Meyers said it's "dead blood." (yes, I know, sorry, TMI)
Or how about a book about werewolves who turn into fluffy collies in the full moon?

I think I'm going to write a book about zombies that glow in the dark, that don't eat brains. Yessiree. The zombie market is horribly under tapped. I was actually discussing this with a friend; four of us are starting up a publishing imprint, and she, too, has decided zombies are an untapped market, and there must be some way to make use of the fact that a body part might drop off at any moment.... Maybe you should collaborate? Then again, the same friend also decided that the mission statement of our imprint should be "Vampires for Meemaw!" And I've got almost 400 pgs of the mss! Doesn't that count for something? Of course, there's no vampire stuff or anything, but I have my share of slightly lavender prose, surely.... I think Rose should submit BeanSiddthishes' Wail to Stephanie's publisher. They'd proll lurve it; it's right up their ally.
