I cancelled my bid, and the seller contacted me and offered to sell me the bag off of eBay. I replied, saying, "The reserve was not set properly; I will purchase the product elsewhere".
I can't stand it when sellers don't leave feedback when I've left good feedback for them! So irritating.

Isn't it a big no-no to offer to sell an item off-eBay, especially after it's been listed?

That is totally shady kw. You made the right choice. Oh and Shorty? I don't think it's a big deal to e-mail the buyer and politely request that they leave feedback. I am a bit of a flake and have often been reminded by sellers to leave FB. I've never felt like it was rude or weird!

Sometimes there are good reasons why someone doesn't leave feedback. I sold a bunch of items last year and then was in a car accident, so I had other things on my mind for a while.

I always ask politely for feedback, then I got an email from this woman who said (somewhat snottily) that it is all voluntary and she doesn't HAVE to leave me feedback. I wanted to say fine, I know that it is voluntary, But, I base my purchases on what kind of feedback the seller has and I'm sure if I didn't have any feedback, because it's voluntary and you don't have to leave it, no one would let me buy, or would be hesitant to let me buy. Isn't that the point of feedback? To help the sellers and buyers know more about each other? I also have 5! sellers that haven't left me feedback and I have of course left them feedback, these are all over a month old.

Sellers don't leave me feedback all the time- I have gotten to where I just ignore it- but it used to bug me.
Happy News- The girl who sold me the dress responded to my email and it was here two days later! She would have gotten positive feedback but the listing said the item was new with tags and there were no tags. If it was for us, then I would not care, but it was a gift and I like for my gifts to have tags on them! So I am just not leaving her any feedback.
Bad News- The Coach shoes I sold Friday have not been paid for- and the buyer has zero feedback. So I guess I have to cancel it and relist. I hope I am not charged fees, that has never happened before!
More Bad News- The Sharper Image air purifiers that I ordered 2 weeks ago are here, unfortunately, one does not work. The seller told me to ship it back to him, but they are big and I don't want to pay shipping- again! They came via UPS, does UPS or USPS have a thing where I can ship it back and the seller pays upon receipt? I usually will eat the shipping, but this will be expensive.
He said that he would refund the purchase- can I ask for the original shipping to be refunded too? It was $15! Thanks for your help, I think I am going to take an Ebay breather for awhile.

I think the seller of the air purifier should refund the shipping fee, it's only the right thing to do.

Ok guys, I need your advice on what you think I should do. I bought four bras on ebay. There was 2 seperate auctions and you were able to select the quantity you wanted on each auction. I purchased 4 bras in total. It took ten days but I finally received 2 of the bras (one from each auction). I wrote immediately and after three days they responded that more were on the way. That was over a week ago. I have written twice since then, no response, no tracking #. The seller has good feedback, sells tons of stuff but definitely screws up on occasion.
I could just make a claim with paypal to get my money back, but the thing is I really want the bras. They are $70 bras and I paid $4 each. The ones I received were absolutely perfect. Any suggestions on how to handle this?
