To me the most important question is what is Miss P. going to be for Halloween? Her most recent request is "Mantha" from Capser's scare school. Which is something I can throw together from stuff she already has. We'll see. Unfortunately, I don't have any free time to make her a costume - between work, workouts and rehearsal for the play we're doing, I barely have time to think. Although, with the government shut down, I might actually have a free day that I hadn't counted on as one of my half marathons might be cancelled. So there's still hope for something cool! |

The babe is going to be Tinkerbell (complete with slippers that have white pom-poms on the toes and rattle). I'm going to be Little Red Riding Hood and husband it yet undecided. He will probably just through on his full-body lizard costume from a few years ago. Since we're wearing the costumes Saturday at the babe's 1st birthday party and there are going to be 6 other babies there, he's going to look like Godzilla if he does.

My office is really into Halloween. We have an open house every year and everyone wears costumes. I'm going as a lobster this year. I got this great lobster head hat. I'm going to wear it with all red- dress, tights, shoes. I have red gloves I'm going to alter to look like claws and I have some fake seaweed to wrap around my neck. If I can find some shells at the dollar store I'll hot glue them to the seaweed. I'm weirdly looking forward to it.
