I gave one of my kids my old laptop, and now all of my browsing history is Pokemon! WTF, I have tried to un-sync my account in Mozilla but it doesn't seem to be working. Mozilla doesn't seem to save MY browsing history, just the juvenile one. I keep ending up playing slitherio somehow instead of working... help me... It may not be Mozilla. I logged onto my computer once using my daughter's Google account, because she needed me to print something from her email. I didn't know I needed to log out until she called me a few months later to ask why I was googling a specific phrase. She said that my search history was showing up on her phone since she was logged into her Google account on the phone but I had never logged out on the desktop machine.

Good point - we have had Google weirdness before. When I set up xir email account with my Verizon email address to verify xir child account, it made any email from a Google mail account (not just Gmail) go to xir's gmail. All the school email ended up going directly to xir instead of me, among other business-related things. Such a pain. We never did get it fixed.

Hi, all. I just got a 55" samsung flatscreen and was looking for a stand that raises the TV more than 20" off the ground. Anyone know of a stand that would put a TV about 3' off the floor?

I’m sorry, alpierce. . . I don’t have a clue. Our flatscreen TV fits inside our entertainment center. Can you hang it on a wall?

Overstock has some options stand with a little storageAmazon.com also has a few very basic standIt sounds like you're looking for something other than a table/ console type piece, so I hope those at least give you a starting point. Sorry, I just re-read your post and I misread the dimensions of the tv. Those may not work at all. AHA The right size, at least!

thanks, I hadn't thought of overstock. Wayfair had low priced things under 200 and high priced things 600+. I was looking for a happy medium.

So far, so good.

Anyone have any input on what's better: Chromecast, Firestick, or Roku? Long story short, I was always one of those people that didn't have cable and solely survived on Hulu and Netflix. But now, because of my AT&T plan, I get DirecTVNow as well... Which isn't compatible with my TV unless I have Chromecast, Firestick or Roku.
Thoughts and opinions are much appreciated.

We have a Roku in the bedroom, because the Spectrum app is better than the cable box, just a few seconds later (due to the delay involved with re-sending the feed).
I have never hooked the actual cable box up. I just use the tuner in the tv.
The Roku also has decent Netflix and Hulu apps, and I use Plex ti stream from the computer. All of which work well.
I keep thinking about getting one for the living room, especially since YouTube saw fit to stop supporting their app on my LG 3D tv....
All that said, I bet there isn't much difference between them performance-wise. I may very well have chosen the Roku because it was cheapest that day!
Also, as I travel a lot, I sometimes toy with getting the stick version to carry on the road to use in hotel rooms, but then I remember the wife and child would be using the account at home at the same time.
