FYI: there was a huge T-mobile breach yesterday. Anyone with T-mobile should update passwords. T-mobile now supports Google's 2 factor authenticator

I’m never one who is up to date with tech stuff so my giddyness about this is years late but I’ve just got myself a pretty nifty little portable Bluetooth speaker with super good sound that’s playin my toons from my gadget loud and I is having a party! I just went out to where my car is and can hear it but not super loud, I haven’t turned it up to 11 yet tho.... so Neighbours won’t be bothered at all! Total random purchase but best random purchase for a while Now excuse me I have a living room to bop and rock and groove and make a general show of myself about in...😎 Duh! Ok so despite having this speaker gadget since *checks post date* August 2019, I just figured out how to pair it with android phone I thought it was only compatible with iPad a random YouTube question can I connect JBL to Samsung and YouTube said yes! It was 2017 video so I’ve been clueless all this time and I’m sure if I’d read instructions I might have known sooner too but hey ho I got there eventually ( I have new phone and updated Spotify etc wasn’t bothered about old phone used headphones) Currently listening ABBA Voyage on full blast and making another show myself in my living room! It is still a rather marvelous little speaker gadget! Edit And while I’m here and being tech stoopid, anyone have any ideas why my iPad randomly powers off while it’s chargong and I’m faffing about online, it’s charged to 27% but it’s been a struggle earlier it was at 11% powered off dropped to 3% I ignored it for a bit hence how I found out who to connect the speaker to the other gadget, came back iPad charging to 20% now it’s stuck again at 27% for ages cos I’m using it I guess but I’ve been online before while it’s charging no problemo! Is it having a tantrum of sorts or have a dodgy cable thingy or dying iPad?

Fitz, it sounds to me like a dead battery. I just put one in my phone that goes from full to 38% in like 2 hrs, whether I use it or not. New new batteries waiting at home....
Getting an actual Apple battery will require a trip to the Apple store, but a third party battery can be installed by any number of shops. Here in USA, Batteries+ Bulbs will do it for about $100.

‘‘Twas the charging cable it seems, I had a spare I forgot I had and switched and normal charging service has resumed. Thanks I’ll be keeping the above advice for future reference for sure.

My Verizon enabled iPhone 15 is now in SOS mode and won't connect to the towers. Seems to be a system-wide problem. This is, I think, the third time in as many months they've had issues like this. Grrrr....
