I'm still sad that they discontinued the Silky Underwear solid perfume. I have a bit left in the one jar I bought a few years ago and I use it very, very sparingly. I love the smell and have never tired of it the way I have of every other perfume I've ever had. Just smelling it is enough to improve my mood. Also, I miss Sweet Japanese Girl cleanser--my skin never looked as good as it did when I used it.

I wonder why they discontinued Sweet Japanese Girl and Babyface. I heard nothing but good things about them but before I could try them out they were gone.
I finally just broke down and ordered some LUSH. Restraint is not the hallmark of my creed aparently.
I ordered:
Angels on Bare Skin Imperialis Ocean Salt Mask of Magniminty
and then Jungle and Godiva- which I currently have but am running low on. I love Godiva, but I dropped it in the shower and a huge chunck of cocobutter fell out. Now it kinda looks like a PacMan ;D
I love it though, but I wanted to try out another shampoo. I had a sample of Reincarnate which I actually did like. Got four washes out of that one little sample. But I held off on getting that just because I wanted to try out something completely new... and well I picked NEW. Lol. I like the idea that is smells like cinnamon and also, my hair has been falling out for years because of a hormonal condition. I don't have a bald spot or anything- but it's sad to have so much hair clog up the drain. I have heard that this shampoo is supposed to keep hair from falling out as much and make it thicker. So we shall see.
I also ordered Comforter bubble bar. I'd tried other bath/ bubble products, but hadn't tried this one yet and it looks like you can get a bunch of uses out of one bar.
Now... dang it... I just want it!!! Got an email that it's been shipped, but I'm still doing the bouncy kid at Christmas who doesn't want to wait to tear into the goodies!

Pardon the double post, but I got my LUSH order yesterday! YAY!!!! They were soooo generous with the samples this go round. It's almost like they were reading my mind because I didn't ask for any specific samples- but I wanted to try Seanik, Trichomainia and Aqua Marina and got samples off them all! Seriously! They read my mind! They also sent samples of Jumpin' Juniper, Karma Komba, Waylander Soap (I'd gotten a sample of that before and... it smells like poo, at least I know not to open this one!) and also Karma Soap. I'm instantly in love with the Karma soap! It smells like oranges and patcholi. I wasn't a real hippie (wasn't born in the 60's dag nabit...) but I had many friends in the 80's who were deeply into the neo-hippie phase and well... this soap smells like old friends... YAY! Of the stuff I got, well I already know I liked Godvia and Jungle and Ocean Salt as I'd used all of them before. But I really like the Mask of Magniminty which I bought on a whim. Also love the Imperialsis moisturizer though it seems a bit soupy. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that or if it melted during shipment. Not sure if I completely like the Angel's on Bare Skin facial cleanser yet. I knew it would be weird in texture, so I was prepared for that. I know you're supposed to mix a bit with water and then put it on your face and so far I'm not happy with that. It might be that I just haven't yet gotten the right amount of product and water figured out yet and once I do it'll all be good. But so far it feels like rubbing dirt on my face... kind of the opposite of feeling clean. Since I used Ocean Salt and the face mask right after, my skin feels super clean today. Will have to try the AoBS by itself to see how clean I feel. Since I also have a sample of the Aqua Marina, I might wind up liking that better. We shall see... Oh yeah, one more thing. I got the Comforter Bubble bar. Before the package arrived, I'd heard about a trick where if you put a piece of a bubble bar in a knee high stocking or a cut off leg from panty hose and tie it to the faucet so it stays directly under the water flow, you get more bubbles. I tried this and... yeah, you do get a lot of bubbles. I'd used other bubble bars before and didn't get quite as many bubbles... but I couldn't tell you if it's because of the Comforter being more bubblicious, or because of the panty hose

Yay for fun LUSH orders! Re: the generous samples, I hate you now. Also, did you order from UK or Canada? Re: Comforter, the level of bubbles you get could also depend on the freshness of the bar. Mail order stuff is always MUCH fresher than store bought stuff.

Mail order stuff is always MUCH fresher than store bought stuff. Hmmm, I never thought about the mail order stuff being fresher, but it does make sense. I've only ever ordered from the mail. The first two times the order came from Canada. This time because I ordered a lot, I got it from the UK. The exchange rate made it about $30 cheaper than it would have been.

I just placed my first Lush order! I'm getting: Stepping Stone, Volcano Foot Mask (my feet are grosssss), Rub Rub Rub, and The Joy of Jelly. Can't wait!

YAY for LUSH orders! I haven't tried any of the Shower Jellies yet but they look like so much fun.
How do I convince LUSH to open a store closer to me! I've placed yet another order, but I'm pretty sure I'm done because I can't think of anything else I'd need until my current supply is used up.
I had gotten Angels on Bare Skin because someone told me that the lavender in it would be great for my oily/combo skin. And it is, now that I've gotten the hang of using it. But it's an exfoliator. It's mild enough that I thought I could use it everyday twice a day, but that's actually not the case. My skin started feeling too "scrubbed". So I had a sample of Aquamarina and tried that. I like that too, except, that doesn't suck up the oil the way AoBS does. So the solution seems to be to use AoBS in the morning and AquaMarina at night (when the shininess that comes with the oil doesn't have as much sun light to reflect it all) But that meant putting in another order as the sample is mostly gone now.
Since I now have two products that I'm going to be switching back and forth on, I realized that I will probably never use either one up before the expiration date. This is where having a LUSH store close at hand would rock. In the store, I could ask for a much smaller amount of each product than what you get from mail order. Plus, by now I have five black pots that will someday be empty and it would be just lovely to be able to turn them in and get a free fresh face mask.
Sigh! Oh well, it's fun to get stuff in the mail too...

Soooooo....what's the verdict on using LUSH massage bars for lube? Pardon the TMI and crudeness, but I mainly plan on using it for giving my gentleman a handjob, but that will likely lead to other activities. Condoms aren't an issue. I guess I'm asking....how do they taste? I'm so sorry if this question made anyone uncomfortable.

Bumping an extremely old thread just to share something LUSH related I just now noticed. A friend and I went on a LUSH pilgrimage over the weekend since I had 10 black pots which meant a Free Fresh Face Mask for each of us. I got Love Lettuce, which now I wish I had gotten Cupcake or Brazened Honey instead, 'cause I'm not liking the LL as much as those two. But anyway, I peeled the sticker that says who made it and when it expires off the bottom to stick on the top so I wouldn't have to keep looking under the bottom... and there was a Secret Message! It said "Lettuce Pray". So then I went around checking other products I had on hand and peeling back the stickers. Ocean Salt said "Vodka Voyage", Angels on Bare Skin said "Celetially Clean" (I think, I may be remembering that wrong) I didn't find any more messages, but these three products I bought within the year, and others I bought at the end of last year. So this must be something they started just in the past year.
I didn't know if this is something I just stumbled upon or if it was common knowledge they started putting hidden messages on their stuff. Either way. Cool!
In more LUSH news, while we were on our pilgrimage I got some Wiccy Magic Muscle. I've been working out more and I do get sore muscles whenever I challenge myself to push harder or lift more weight. The Wiccy Magic... well, I won't say it takes the pain away all together, but it defintely takes the edge off the pain. And I like walking around smelling like a cinnamon stick... But that's just me...
