Just The LUSH, Ma'am

GG, yay for fun LUSH trips! I, too, have quite the collection of black pots going... I don't have a pilgrimage planned, though, because... My local mall is getting a LUSH! At the end of the summer! YES!!!!!! Methinks my LUSH lurve will be rekindled (at least for a little while).

After reading about the LUSH love here for years I finally made a little order today.
Smell of Freedom and Breath of God perfume sticks.

I can't wait to use them.

There is going to be a LUSH store opening a couple of hours away soon, might make it a day trip when it does.

Has anyone tried the No Drought dry shampoo? I workout during my lunch break at work and when I come back my hair is drenched in the back. (No time for a real shower, though baby wipes + clinical strength deodorant seems to do the trick) But my hair still looks like a hot mess and I usually just keep it back in a pony tail for the rest of the day. But if the No Drought would work, it would be worth it to use. I've seen some folks doing demos on YouTube, but they are usually demonstrating on their dry hair, and again, mine is a sweaty mess right after working out. I'm afraid if I put the No Drought on, it would turn into a disaster of gooey clumps of powder rather than soaking up the oil. I was just wondering if anyone else used it and what their experience was.

SIGH. If only a LUSH would open up near by I'm sure they would give me a sample of the stuff. Pouty Pout Pout!!

I use it and love it! Also only on dry hair, though. I suspect you are right about what would happen if you applied it to wet hair. Could you blow dry your hair after working out/before dry shampooing?

Blow drying might be a possibility, but I'd have to see. I have a very small window of freshening up post workout before lunch break is officially over and boss lady gives me the stink eye for toddling in too late. I seem to have just enough time to keep myself from stinking along with getting stink eye- but the hair's still an issue. I will have to see if there is enough time to add blow drying to that and then maybe I could try the No Drought. I'm not sure why I had this idea is was something I could dust over my hair and brush it out and look FABULOUS. Obviously from the videos I've seen, it takes a little more working through than that and with the amount of sweat under my hair it would probably be a disaster without hitting it with the blowdryer first.

Somehow the Denver metro area has been blessed with not one but TWO Lush stores; one that has been in Boulder for about a decade, and a new one at the Cherry Creek Mall (high-end shopping center). Don't know why we're so lucky but oh yay, now I don't have to drive an hour to get my fix.

So I'm walking through Georgetown looking for the Lush Store, but through the crowd, the lack of signs I thought it was gone. Then the smell hit me. That's right, I navigated my way to Lush by smell.

Bumpity bump bump! Just to say- at long last- after much wailing and gnashing of teeth- there is FINALLY a LUSH store within a reasonable travel distance from myself! Well, not exactly to me, but within reasonable travel distance of my BFF and fellow LUSH groupie whom I visit at least once per month! Cue Hallelujah Chorus, y'all!

(And yeah, if you scroll back through this thread even a little you'll see that this was a major issue with me ;-)
