I saw an article yesterday (but I can't remember where it was!) about Angelea- she got married just a couple months after the finale, and is currently about 5 months pregnant. Depending on how old the article was, and how liberal they are with their "about 5 months" counting, that could mean that she got pregnant and was deemed unable to fulfill her contractual obligations as the winner. Damn I wish I could find that article!!!!!!!

Does anybody else not get the appeal of Laura? I think she's downright fug. Every time they tell her how stunning she is, I have no idea what they're seeing. I know a lot of models aren't classically pretty, but I don't see anything in her.. AT ALL.

It seemed like the editing for the All Star season was geared toward her winning. BTW, the CW Upfronts are going on today and it sounds like fans are going to vote the winner next season. It got me thinking who would've won in season's past: Laura the country girl in the petite cycle Definitely Allison, with the buggy eyes Heather, the girl with Asbergers would've won - no doubt. I bet Tocorra would've won in her season. Curious to see how it goes next season (trainwreck I'm sure) and how it impacts the type of prizes they givve.

I know it's not nearly as crucial in the modeling world as having a single produced by CBS, but shouldn't these girls be able to walk? This seems like the third or fourth cycle where a terrible walker gets into the finals. Also, a runway show for Forever 21? So haute couture.

I read that people can vote online and their scores will be factored into the the eliminations which doesn't necessarily mean it will be the final decision. That sounds like bs. I think online voting is stupid but if you are going to do it, it should count for the whole decision or not at all. The show is also moving to Friday nights at 8:00 pm which is the death slot. Even a couple of seasons ago ANTM was pretty reliable in the ratings. It is amazing how quickly it has fallen. Of course Tyra sees that as a reason to overhaul and make it even less about fashion rather than go back to the basics and make it more like the early seasons. What is the grand prize this season? I somehow always tune it out when they mention it. Does the winner still get Vogue Italia?

So half the prizes require someone with personality. Thus, the obvious choice is ... Laura? The hell? I know they needed to keep an American in there, but it's such a joke that Annalise was cut. I thought her photos were fine and she did actually book more jobs than Laura. For the prizes they're offering, she and Sophie really do seem better suited. The only time I've thought Laura looked really good was the other week when they put her in the black wig. Even Jay commented on how they should have given her that colour. It would probably be healthier than the straw they made from her hair.

I really thought they were building us up for a Laura win with all the panic attack drama, which made me extra bitter during the judging when they seemed to be reaching for ways to give Laura the advantage, but I was really pleased with Sophie getting the win. She seems like a lovely person, inside and out.

I was sure they were going to give it to Laura too, when they were going on about how much better her ad was in the non-scripted bits. Sophie easily has the best natural ad in years if not ever. Plus, she was the one picked most often at the go-sees they did. She seemed the obvious winner, which is why I figured there was no way Tyra would pick her. Such a pleasant surprise that they actually picked the better model for once!

Laura is a high fashion model? I just can't see anything in her at all. I thought she was an average looking skinny girl with hair that made her look like Lady Gaga.
Sophie is adorable. I hope she can a TV gig. She's way too cute to just be in print (or runway, which I will never see).
So the hot piece that is Nigel is done? But that sourpuss extraordinaire Kelly Cutrone is staying?

I can't remember the last time the majority was happy about the winner of ANTM. Tyra usually manages to piss people off no matter what. I also respect that Sophie didn't/ doesn't constantly bring up her bff/roommateness with Emma Watson on the show or on her twitter. Watson probably has a ton of connections in the fashion industry, but she still went and slummed it on ANTM and seems to be trying to make it on her own. Good on her.
