Team Texas started out strong but they are sinking fast. I couldn't believe that they came in last this week. Lucky for them it was a non elimination leg. The Green team is looking like they are unbeatable.

I was really hoping that "the girls" would be out. They annoy the hell out of me (as do all all-female teams who think they're going to rely on their self-declared sex appeal to get ahead). Justin bugs me sometimes with his berating of Diana and his insistence that they're a team when really he just sulks and whines if she calls the shots, but at least he's a true fan of the Race and a real student of Race strategy.

The one thing that gives me hope that the Green Team will eventually be beatable is remembering what happened to the women hockey players on Amazing Race Canada's second season. They also looked unbeatable, winning 6 or 7 legs, but they were beat in the final leg. (And I hadz a sad.)
The thing that bugs about the Green Team is that Team Texas and the man-journalist (Joey?) keep saying they need to beat "Justin." When it's not just Justin who's been winning every leg! He has made a few bone-headed moves, and he's hardly carrying Diana (like Zach did with Flo, for instance.) She's a rockstar, and I hate that the other guys don't seem to want to acknowledge that it's Justin AND DIANA that they need to beat.

My guess is that the focus on Justin is because of his obnoxious personality and his super-fan status rather than being dismissive of Diana in general. I was annoyed by the cheerleaders this week, but I suspected it was a non-elimination week, so I figured it wouldn't matter who was last. I did think it was nice of the Texans not to go ahead of the girls when they could even realizing it might mean elimination.

I think that Justin is kind of obnoxious but he and Diana are really good racers and work well together. They rocked on the salt mine and he went out to find out what the different foods were from the beginning and got that one on the first try too. I'll still be surpised if they actually win it - there have been plenty of teams that dominate early and lose it in the end.
I liked that they highlighted the Schindler museum - even the brief parts we saw were touching and it was a nice quiet moment during the chaos of the race.

He's a very enthusiastic person, and that can come off as grating when unchecked. But he also seems passionate to the Race and to Denise, so I can't hate him. But he is veeeeerrrryyyy energetic.
I was concerned that this was an Elimination episode for half of the episode, and if it was, they might as well have just shown us the highlights of the rest of the season, because Team Green would have had this in the bag. Thankfully, Team Texas are still there, as well as Team Anonymous (the blonde lady and dark haired guy).

Hey Reporters, you know what makes a good story? Keeping the potential upsetting team still in the game over the quarreling dysfunctional team.
Instead, they pretty much handed the crown to #TeamGreen. And Team Green do deserve to win this, but it would still be nice for them to have some competition.
And, besides, those guys were HAWT! I suspect we will see them back on a future season. That Speed Bump was unnecessarily cruel compared to previous season's ones.

I understand why the reporters wouldn't want Team Texas still in the race, since they're bigger physical challengers and the reporters are having a hard enough time getting past second place. Texas had been doing well up until the last couple of legs. But yeah, that speed bump was cruel and quite a change from the "sit in a sauna for 10 minutes" when they first introduced the speed bump.

Why won't Team Green just go already? This is going to be a replay of last season where I don't like any of the final 3 teams.
