Did anyone else see the item about David Cross making out with Amber Tamblyn? I wonder how she feels about cut-offs....

Inside Scoop on Arrested Movie Deal I don't want to jinx it, but it looks like it's finally happening! I'm guessing that "the holdout" is Michael Cera. He's said in several interviews that he wouldn't do an AD movie. Maybe he's just holding out for more money, though. The article says they will still do the movie with or without the unnamed cast member.

You've basically been playing George Michael in all your movies anyway, so it isn't like this will be any different and you'll make lots of fans happy.

Michael Cera. Please be in the movie. It would make me, and a lot of ladies of a certain age who still yearn for their sweet & geeky crushes from back in the day, very happy.

I know. They could always give the actor that plays Steve Holt a bigger part since he is part of the family. (arms up) "STEVE HOLT!!" (arms up). Supposedly the budget for this movie is 15 million. I usually discover great television shows (ex. The Wire) after they are off the air and Arrested development is no exception. I am sad that there was only three seasons. FYI, you can watch all three seasons for free at hulu.com.

Steve Holt!
I think they would be okay without George Michael, the only thing is that GM is sort of the moral center of the show, since he was the only one who wasn't completely self-absorbed. But Michael usually gets there in the end, so they could do it without him.
They could increase Steve Holt!'s presence, especially since we've learned that he's GOB's son, but I think he's funniest in small doses.
Hee. Now I'm think of the episode where Steve Holt got a job delivering fruit baskets and when he ran the bell at the Bluth house you could see him raising his arms and saying "Steve Holt!" behind the frosted glass on the front door. Did he do that at every house on his delivery route?

I'd be disappointed if everyone came back except Cera. GM only found out in the finale that Maeby isn't really his cousin, I want to see the fallout from that!
I hope some of the recurring characters come back too. Barry Zuckercorn, Lucille 2, SteveHolt!, Egg, Annyong, Stan Sitwell...
Stop being a little bitch, Michael Cera!

Bob Loblaw can come back too, I just need some shark-jumping, truck-stop-frequenting Barry. He's VERY good.
I'm sure there are other characters I'm forgetting. However, I will not be heartbroken if they "forget" about Rita or Tony Wonder.
