I am still hoping for a Paris and Doyle spinoff.

I disagree. I think that Rory thought that their conversations during "Hay Bell Maze" had cemented where they were. They were going to stay together, and he would factor her career into his choices. Then all of a sudden Logan has accepted a job across the country, has picked out a house, and wants her to marry him with absolutely no discussion. He proposal-bombs her, and when she says no he just dumps her. To me, it came out of left field and was rather OOC for Logan, who always (IMO) supported Rory and her choices.

I agree with you, Peggy Lane, except for the part about it being OOC for Logan. While he's shown (especially this season) that he cares for Rory, he's always been a selfish, self-absorbed jerk.

I loved the last few episodes. The writers have really redeemed this show IMO. Why couldn't it have been this good for the last three seasons?
I actually like the way things ended with Logan and Rory. For many people, a long distance relationship for an indefinite amount of time just isn't an appealing option, no matter how great the person. I think it was just a matter of the two of them growing up and going their separate ways.
Emily and Richard were so sweet singing for Rory! I hope they get plenty of work after GG.
Of course, I loved the Luke/Lorelai kiss!
The ending with the three at the diner was perfect. I am going to miss this show!

Now that this is streaming on Netflix, I'm embarking on a marathon. Marathoned it several years ago and really liked it, finding it better on second viewing. Emily Gilmore is one of my favorite TV characters of all time.

I agree about Emily. It's so easy to see where Lorelai got her fire from. By the end of the show Lorelai and Rory were my least favorite characters. Emily was my fave; she and all the other Stars Hollow residents were my reason for watching.
ETA that I lurve Luke and found Christopher boring/annoying.

Yeah I was sorry to see Bunheads go because 1) It gave me my Kelly Bishop fix & 2) I could watch Sutton Foster and Julia Goldani Telles dance all day.

Agree on the decline of Rory and Lorelai's likability as the show progresses. I can imagine a real life Lorelai would get tiresome over time too! Hated Luke in my first viewing but now I see he really is the perfect match for her. She needed that curmudgeonly straight man to balance out the manic pixie girl stuff.
Bunheads was SUCH a disappointment! Perhaps because I wanted GG 2.0 and it was that but in the worst ways. The plot just made no sense. Killing off her new husband in the first episode was a horrible idea, amongst others.

Finally on Netflix! I will admit I am probably the only person on the planet that liked Lorelei with Jason because he was quirky like her. Interesting when you watch reruns how you start noticing all the plot holes and inconsistencies. Rory went from being broke one year to being able to afford an expensive trip to Asia with Logan unless he was paying for it? Confession, I sort of felt that Rory was a brat the last couple of seasons.
