Loreli need sto grow up ! Shes acting like a hurt 12 year old instead of a mother. "You're not my best friend anymore because you don't do what I said."
I am hoping for the crash and burn of Rory's relationship with Trust Fund Freddy. He's such an ass.

Did anyone notice that when Rory got out of the car in Stars Hollow before the baptism she didn't have a purse or anything and it seemed she just left her keys in the car?
That bugged me for about five minutes.
And I hate Rory for whining to Lane about how "Mommy won't talk to me" like it is just this crazy out of the blue thing for no reason instead of, you know, getting arrested for stealing a YACHT and dropping out of school but not facing the real world as the alternative. If college isn't for you, fine, but get 3 roommates and a minimum wage job like Lane and get a goal. Living in a posh pool house redecorated to your specifications with maid service, free food, etc. while you dabble as a phone girl at Grandma's DAR office ain't choosing "real life" over college, it is just being a big baby and a quitter.

Last night's episode wasn't that bad. Kinda good really. Rory has all the personality of a wooden board but still it was good.
The chemstry with Luke and Loralie is gone....they act like they've been married for 50 years. There are no signs of affection between them.
What's with Kirk's stomach? Is he pregnant?
I loved how when Richard talked to Logan's father and found out how Logan's father sadistically crushed Rory, how his fit balled up and you KNOW he wanted to punch him in the nose. Logan's father was a jerk and I think he just crushed Rory because he likes doing stuff like that. But it's true, if she really had it she'd fight back and become better, not crawl away and hide like a baby. Then again this did come from someone who ultimatly was seeking to smash her and was quite cruel just because it's what he does.
I loved Emily's little tirade at Logan's mother. She sounded so sweet and cordial and evil. I wish these people were my grandparents and would come to my rescue. Hey and I have more personality than Rory.
What were the previews for next week? I missed them cause the baby woke up.

I loved this too. When Emily turned from Richard with an evil smile I just got excited because I knew a smackdown was coming. And she delivered.
I saw the preview for next week but I've forgotten it already. So it couldn't have been very interesting.

For some reason we never seem to get the next week previews for any shows in Canada.
Yeah NO TJ. Is it just me or is Jackson and Sookie the most annoying parents ever? I wanted to shove that remote control down Jackson's throat. Now regarding Kirk just Ewwwwww. Why do they have to do these weird things with the towns people?
They rest of the show I really liked. I was really wishing Rory had told Paris why she really quit Yale. I think her smack down of the Huntsbergers would have been as good as Emily's.
Mad Elf - You are so right about Luke and Loralie they don't even touch each other or smile at each other and they are supposed to be in love!

OOhhhh Benni that bugged too! How old is little Jack Jr? Not even 2. How could they expect him to understand turn down the TV? They probably turned it up in the first place. I wanted to grab that poor kid and run and bring it home to some place a little less neurotic and abusive. And Loralie, a mother...who KNOWS BETTER just let them abuse that poor baby. I really hate Sookie.
And oh yeah Paris' smack down would be good too. I want to see her smack down Logan's father though. That smug jerk needs a good Parising.

I liked this episode. I especially liked the part at the end when Emily turned with the look. I knew the next part would be great and it was!
Does anyone else notice the way Alexis Bleidel says her lines now? She says her lines in a melody. I don't know how to explain it. It's really annoying. I don't know if it's the actress or it's supposed to be Rory's way of becoming snooty and high society.
And I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed Kirk's stomach. I thought he was this super skinny guy, but put him in a leotard and he's actually pregnant!
The previews shows the Grandparents snooping around Rory's place and I guess they find something that "nobody expected." And they also show Grandpa telling Loralei that they do need to do something about Rory. Or something like that.

For some reason we never seem to get the next week previews for any shows in Canada. Benni, you can see the Gilmore Girls promo (or a reasonable facsimile thereof) at the WB website, although it wasn't up at this point in time (try on the weekend.) Most of the networks up here don't seem to get that teasers make the fans excited. Except for CTV and Medium (I'm sick of the damned previews and it's only Wednesday.) I loved Paris as "oppressed working-class" and I'm glad that Richard has figured out that Rory's dropping out of school was a mistake. Oh, and I think Kirk only looks pregnant because the man has NO CHEST. Think back to the steam bath episode of last year. Or don't - you might have nightmares.

Wasn't there an earlier ep this season where Kirk removed his shirt? I noticed then that not only did he have an oddly large potbelly for such skinny guy, but he had a weird pouchy droopy thing on his chest. I know, ew.
Sookie and Jackson need a visit by the Supernanny to tell them to be consistent, to follow through and to deal with a child according to his age.
