I loved the court scene. 300 hours community service will do Rory good seeing as she IS BEING A POUTY BABY AND NOT GOING TO SCHOOL! Richard is going to sue the lawyer for not getting her off. Too funny! I am loving how Loralie is with her parents, sending Michele to deal with her mother was perfect. I love Luke, Sigh. Poor Paris. Silly Loralie giving Paris her phone number. I thought Kirk and the rings was not really funny and could have been left out.
Holy Cow I thought one of Babette's boobs was going to smuck her in the face when she was running across the street. I was huffing and puffing for her!

I really hate Rory right now, but not for the reasons most people do.

I think it's because she's that teenager that learned how to talk back. She was a sweet kid, but then she started discovering new relationships (Jess) and college life. It made her a bit confused. Not to mention that she's stopped appreciating all the hard work (and begging) her mother did in order to get her as far as she did.

Now, suddenly, she's tossing it aside because she found out the world doesn't love her as much as Stars Hollow does.

All in all, hate the character, but the story arc is great stuff.

I am so pissed [mostly with myself] that I missed the first show of the season! I swear last year it didn't start until October!
I didn't know until I got the email about the recap at TWOP. I guess I'm no longer a true Gilmorian. [Gilmoron?] I'll have to turn in my giant coffee cup and cute sweater.

I effing hate TJ, and i am sorry, but I would have had him arrested for the destruction of my wall last week. They just sigh and put up plywood. Then, last nite, pretend he's the contractor AND pay him. Loreli and her money from no where! That really irks me.

Speaking of money, how could Lane's band make $9000 in one summer? There is no way church gigs would pay that much!

Plus Rory's seniors looked to be in their 60s, they should have been dancing to Buddy Holly, not the big band era.

I know it's just TV, but please.

Nah, I felt the same way. They should just call the show Everybody Loves Rory. I don't understand how everyone on the trash-pick-up job went from hating her to loving her. It's also just a major pet peeve of mine when I see the elderly being treated like they're morons. Rory's little "Watch your hands!" jokes kill me. If I'm lucky enough to live that long and I get put in a home and some 20 something college drop-out comes by and says cutesy things like "Get DOWN!" and "Watch your hands!" I'll give them the smack-down.

I HATE that.

I also hate TJ. And Loralei was even bugging me with her "My left foot" crap with the construction workers. I love this show but 8 times out of 10, Loralei & Rory are self-obsessed and annoying but I'm the only one who thinks so.

I had Hopes when I tuned in last night.

The only things I liked were Paul Anka and Joke about Tom Cruise and Katie Homes Jumping out of Cake.

I Hated everything else. If I ever see TJ walking down the street I will choke him to death I hate him that much.

I like this show but agree that this year, Lorelai and Rory each seem very annoying. I think it's because they're not interacting with each other and it just doesn't play as well. They're both the snarkiest so their banter is fun when it's between the two of them. When Lorelai is riffing off Luke though, I find it very boring and wondering why he doesn't slap her already. Rory is coming off as having zero personality this season too for some reason. I'm a bit disappointed in how this season is playing out. Being a die hard fan from day one, its' got me bummed a fair bit.

Also, I hate TJ too. I'd like to see more with Miss Patty and the Sally Struthers character as well.
