Anything interesting going to happen tonite?
Could Loreli's dad have set Loreli up with this guy [the guy that might buy the inn and give her a globe trotting job] as a way to get her away from Luke? Just wondering, he could be that evil, remember he was the head vampire.

Wow. I missed 95% of what went on during the steam room scene because I was mesmerized/repulsed by Kirk's freaky physique. The too-close-together nipples, the utter lack of pecs, the golf ball-sized lump, the bull-frog-like bulge.....
Uh, sorry, just made myself nauseous again. You guys, too, I bet. Apologies all around.
The Loreluke 'shipper in me hopes that she is pregnant and they get hitched. If next week's proposal is by Logan (who I can't bring myself to like), I'll be pissed.
You're not the only one, Benni. I thought for sure he would hit on her last night.

My show is starting to get predictable and it is making me sad. This is how I would have written last night's show.
When Luke found out Kirk was outbidding him on the house and had $247,000.00 he should have picked him up and thrown him out of the diner. Then beat the shit out of him just on general principal. Screw Taylor the pompous ass. When Suki was in labor she should have been screaming hysterically and and throwing things at her husband. The whole go have a vasectomy thing was just plain stupid. If the whole Loralie pregnancy scare is just that I will be pissed. Loralie should have walked in on her mother making mad passionate love with the male ballerina. Logan's father should have made a pass at Rori, Rori should have gone running to Logan, who should have then cut off all ties from his family and tried to live like a poor man for like 3 days, then admitted defeat. Dr.Phil should have called Emily to ask her on his show for abusive mothers regarding the magazine article.
It better be good next week but I just know it will be Rory who gets the marriage proposal or You know who else even the Korean girl probably. (There is something wrong with my brain)

Yeah, I wish Luke has tossed out Kirk and his 10 cent bitching ass and told him never come here again cheapo.
The pregnancy thing was so moronic. Nobody knows after two days!!! Apples or no apples.
Plus I thought Sookie was going to say "I'm having my tubes tied while I'm here." Not the unbelievable "I've made you an appointment, go now." It aint a haircut people!! I think it's something the person that is actually having it done might be needed to OK it.

Well, a vasectomy is a lot easier on the recipient than a tubal. Esp. since she just gave birth, Sookie shouldn't have to do that yet, too.
No woman I know does it anymore, unless she's had a c-section and the doc is inside her already. All the guys do the Big V.
Lorelai needs to work on her birth control. Two unplanned pregnancies? Try harder, Lorelai. And yes, I know they're 20 years apart (assuming she really is pregnant), but still.

Well, what did we think of the finale? Thumbs up here. I was really pissed at Richard and Emily, though. Lorelai's had to live in the shadow of her parents' ideas about what is "right" parenting, starting with not getting pregnant at 16. How dare they stabbed her in the back like that? Wouldn't most grandparents (not to mention wealthy, What-will-the-neighbors-think? ones) be kicking Rory's ass and telling her to go back to Yale and make something of herself? I know my working-class, down-to-earth grandparents would've.
I so did not see Lorelai's proposal coming, but I liked it, of course. It totally made sense coming on the heels of Luke being all fatherly about Rory and wanting to help Lorelai. (Shit, I was getting so mushy at Luke's tirade that I was ready to propose to him. Speaking of which, where would one go about finding a Luke? Yummmm....) I think, maybe even more than having more kids, the conflict next year will be about Lorelai's career. Her line last night about "I wanted (Rory) to have more than I did" really makes me think that. It seems as though she really is considering selling the Dragonfly and taking the consulting job. Having had the responsibility of a child from such a young age, I'm sure she's not had a chance to get out and explore the world, and that's got to be attractive to her. Luke seems all panicky at the thought of her traveling so much, so my money's on that being the Big Conflict.
Yay! for Mama Kim! And I so love Gil: "That jacket is awesome!" Sebastian Bach is just adorable, though I still want to trim his split ends and give him a deep conditioning treatment.
Anyone else howl when Lorelai took out the phones to talk to Rory the jailbird? I totally lost it. I thought for sure, though, that she'd do the cliched put-your-hand-up-on-the-(in this case nonexistent)-glass for the inmate to touch. Heh.

I think Rory kind of gave up too easily just because of what Mitchum said, but Loreli was freaking a bit much. Lots of college kids change their majors/go through a melt down of uncertainy. Loreli was more concerned with yelling at Rory and not listening or working out another option. "We've been working for this for years." might be true, but in the end Rory has to be the one happy with what she chooses.
Luke's slip of "What about the kids?" was so cute.

I finally got to see the finale last night and I loved it. So happy to see the town trobadour. Loved Mama Kim and the band. I want to go on tour with them. I want to condition and cut Pizza guys hair to his shoulders. I love the "what about the kids" remark Luke made. Note to Lorelie - Let Rori learn from her own mistakes and why does everything have to be better for her than you? Maybe she really isn't cut out to be a journalist if one lousy creep's opinion effects her so badly. She is a grown women get on with your life marry Luke and be happy.

Season premiere last night. Took up right where the closer let off. Was I the only one who watched this?
Doesn't look to me like Logan is liking what Rory is turning into. Ha ha ha!

I thought the same thing. Rory is pissing me off. I feel like Logan probably likes her because she's different. She's smart. She's confident. She's a little odd but in a good way. She has goals. So he dates her becuase of this and now she's turning into a goalless college drop-out who's getting along a little too well with the other vapid nasty girls in his group. Hint: Rory, if he wanted one of them, he would have already dated one.
But I'm glad to see it's back.
