Barely noticed the new set, I guess because that sort of stuff is pointless to me.

I really dislike the "kids read pundits" segments, but I usually love everything else. I like how he asks the questions I'm always thinking.

Jon's interview of Bernard Goldberg last night was the funniest thing I've seen on TV in a long time.

I haven't watched in a while, and I tuned in around 7:15, noticed the new set....is the interview portion of the show longer now? It seemed that I remember only the last third of the show being the interview. Can someone fill me in? (I was also watching the Bernard Goldberg ep.)

Sometimes, if the guest is worth it, they'll do a two-segment interview. I think the interview with BG was only supposed to be one segment since they were teasing an Ed Helms piece right before the show aired. I guess they decided to bump it and expand the interview since it was so good.

I can't watch The Daily Show anymore. Don't get me wrong, it's brilliant and Jon Stewart is like a god to me. Still and all it's a reminder, albeit a hilariously funny one, of how totally & resoundingly this administration has fucked everything up beyond all recognition and I just can't take it.

The first night with the new set was the first one I really watched since the election. It hurts too much.

This show is really starting to suck. Yes, we get you think Bush is dumb, move on. Daily Show has become what they set out at first to laugh at. Jon pours complements all over the guest and gushs about how great their book is. The new set feels cold and is ugly. The blue background cast a shadow over his face. By removing the couch which gave a more warm feelings, it now looks like any other news show.
