I decided to skip this one after reading the description. It sounded like a rehash of extremely well known historical events that have been done and redone to death. The next episodes sound promising, though:

Bored. Still don't like this new Doctor. Yeah, I'm underwhelmed by him too. He combines the dullness of the 5th doctor with the unpleasantness of the 6th doctor.

I had a crush on Peter Davison. Granted, I was about 8 or 9 years old when he became the Doctor, so that may have clouded my judgement. I like Capaldi so far. I know they've said he's more in line with Tom Baker's Doctor, and he was my first, so maybe that's why I'm okay with Capaldi. Plus, after 35 years or more of fandom, I roll with each Doctor as he comes. The only time in the modern era that I've really actively disliked anything with Doctor Who was the whole "Rose as his one true love" bullshit, as that just felt completely out of character and out of show mythology to me. eta: I forgot - I also dislike that Moffatt seems to play fast and loose with his own rules, particularly with the Weeping Angels.

I still haven't bothered to watch the latest episode. I'm just so over Moffatt and his crap. Would really like the next companion to be a normal person who stays that way and doesn't become the most special person ever.

The latest episode was a big heap 'o nothing, even by Moffat standards.
I don't like 12. I'm sick and tired of him insulting Clara's appearance. Regenerate already! Hugh Laurie needs a job !

I like this Doctor, I just don't like this Doctor with this companion and Steve Moffat. Steve Moffat needs to get his head out of his ass.

I liked this episode. I really liked the Rupert character and am intrigued by where things are going with him. I agree about the insults. Peter Capaldi doesn't do well with lighthearted jokes. The fun jabs fall completely flat and turn into straight insults.

I read Tom Baker's autobiography a long time ago. I don't remember much form it. I like him as the Doctor, though. Pre-Doctor Who, at one job he overheard a coworker say to another coworker that there was "something faintly disgusting" about him...
I haven't checked out Capaldi yet. I remember him as the young guy from Local Hero. That must have been a while ago.

Finally caught up. Boring, boring, boring. Can't stand Clara. The Doctor is acting like a fool. Danny Pink has just about as much personality as Clara, which is to say none. The only characters I like are the one and dones. I never thought I would say this about Doctor Who, but I think I'm done.
Just kidding. I'm an optimist. It'll get better, right?
Nope, you're right. It probably won't. Crap.
