Honestly? He's my LEAST favorite of the Doctors. I liked Matt Smith a lot and even like Capaldi! I just wish they had a better writer. Moffat is so busy making the OVERALL arc of the stories...that he loses a lot. Some episodes need to be able to be stand alone. Eccleston is my favorite. I found our difference, kateln! I love number ten! Tennant is definitely my fave though Eccleston is my second favorite. Knew there had to be SOMETHING!

There's a Chrisrmas special, but I haven't heard anything about when the new season is going to air, though they are filming, I believe.

The twitter meltdown is epic. Lots and lots of bitter bitter tears! It's marvellous.
I've really enjoyed Pearl Mackie but I'm so ready for the end of the Moffat era I'd be ok with a clean slate.

This is where I'm at as well (I actually haven't watched since Matt Smith's first episode), so I think this was a really smart move. I thought she was great in Broadchurch, and that role called for a certain stoic sadness that I think could work well for the Doctor.

And ive just spotted the best tweet from someone. Nevertheless, she regenerated. 😁 edit I'm only really watching since nuwho came on board with Nine and he is my Doctor (Ecclestone fan since Cracker and Our friends in the North) enjoyed both Tennant and Smith also saw McGanns doctor and loved him too and loving Capaldi he not totally gone yet. So going by my loving enjoying and loving the Doctors I've seen I'm Absolutely on board for Jodie Whittaker I think she will be great even if its really only Broad church I'm familiar with.

No surprise that mostly men are losing their shit over this casting decision. Calling it snowflake sjw tokenism.
