Who-flakes maybe, honestly I don't think they realise that the series has miscast humans as aliens since the start surely ET should have had the gig all this time ;-)
TeamJodie! Go13!
OK just realised my bday 13 sept or 9/13 so my Doctors have to be 9 and 13! Already said 9 is my first doctor!

I'm no Who expert, but the Doctor is a being that occasionally regenerates into a different physical form, yes? There's nothing in the rules that says the Doctor has to be a white dude, right? The Doctor could literally be anyone, correct?
Soooo, what's the hub-bub? This is not outside the established rules of the character. So, what's the big deal?
Oh, right - impotent white heterosexual male rage. Enough already. The Doctor could look like anyone and you got 50 years of a Doctor who looks like you.

To be honest, I'm not a big Jodie Whittaker fan - I found her character in Broadchurch to be kind of blah, and I never watched Black Mirror. If they were going to pick an actress from Broadchurch, I would have much preferred Olivia Coleman. Oh well!

Bumping this up for the new season! It’s moved from Saturday to Sunday night. The premiere is airing in the afternoon(and repeating several times on BBC America) in the US-simulcasting with BBC airing.

The Doctor is back and I loved her. She I think has a hint of Ten about her and of course Nine as it seems every planet has a north again! This time Sheffield Steel.

I loved it. We missed the opening and need to get back in, but the older couple was so sweet--and the rest of it was amazing!

That was a nice palate cleanser after Kavanaugh.

Nine is my Doctor i really only got involved in the reboot in 2005? all because of Eccleston, I liked Ten and Eleven Loved Eights little comeback, loved 12 as well and I wanted as my post above suggested to be a big 13 supporter but well you never know, but as above post said 9 and 13 are by birthright mine I'm so glad she had me at empty pockets! I don't like empty pockets. 9 and 13 and all planets having a north for the win. Oh and this line kicked me in the as young ones say in the feels about those no longer here.... “I carry them with me: what they would have thought and said and done. Make them a part of who I am. So even though they’re gone from the world they’re never gone from me.”9/13 (13/9in euros)my birthday and my Doctors. 13 has in one ep leapfrogged over 8/10/12/11 to my equal fav...I love them all and all the earlier ones too. I'm an equal opportunities DrWho love fan or something.... They are all the same alien anyway...😎

Nine is also my Doctor. I was an Eccleston fan and loved seeing him go against the characters he normally played, I liked 10 but preferred 11, and liked 12. But 13 is so wonderful. She's great!
