So it'll get its ass kicked by 24 or CSI, ratings-wise? UPN's stupid, but not *that* stupid.

If it gets cancelled, maybe MTV or HBO could pick it up.

I hate to be a downer, since I love VM, too, but while I'm not sure that MTV will pick it up, I'm sure that HBO's not gonna take in another network's hand-me-downs, especially UPN's.

MTV and UPN are owned by the same company, Viacom/Paramount. That's why VM is rerun on MTV. I think it would do better on MTV, but MTV's budget is small. They rely on reality shows that cost very little, and VM might be too much for them.

Anyone watch last night? I'm by no means a Logan/Veronica shipper, but that kiss was HOT, and the actors nailed the confusion/weird attraction the characters must have been feeling. A "what the hell was that? I don't know, but it felt damn good" sort of thing. Ahh, this show is so complex, and I love it! Even JTT couldn't stink it up. Hell, it survived PARIS HILTON!

So happy about the renewal, too.

I watched, and was so glad I am unspoiled. I'm a L/V shipper (and also a D/V shipper) and that kiss rocked. The awkwardness afterwards was good, too.

I think last night was a prefect episode - good A plot (but shut up JTT) and it advanced the Lily murder plot as well. The Duncan/Veronica confrontation scene was amazing as well - TD scared the crap out of me, and KB nailed it. She's amazing - she makes me believe she is VM, and not an actress playing the part.

I will say that I was squicked by Leo saying that he wanted to see Victoria's bedroom ceiling.

Also, Wallace's mom dating Veronica's dad-anyone else reminded of that kinda same storyline on Popular?

Show creator Rob Thomas said on another site, that they are sending out Emmy screeners to Emmy voters. The tape consists of 2 eps- Clash of the Tritons and the upcoming A Trip to the Dentist.
