TV Characters We Hate

I've only ever seen commercials and small clips, but the mother and daughter on Gilmore Girls drive me crazy! The dialogue is so unnatural and both of their voices grate.

Wow, me too. I've never seen an entire episode, just bits and oh my god. It's Aaron Sorkin-style speed-talking only AWFUL. Especially the daughter.

I hate Steve and Susan on Coupling. She's smug and he's always freaking out and whining, and her smugness is exacerbated by his whininess, and likewise his whininess is exacerbated by her smugness. So I don't think this is a case of "they deserve each other".

I think some parts of that show are funny, but I hate it whenever Susan and Steve start carrying on with one of their exchanges of "You women always do that thing!/You men only ever care about blah blah blah!". And in one episode they tried to say that Steve wiped his ass with newspaper until Susan convinced him to start buying toilet paper. What in the Hell!?! Is there an element of British humor I'm missing here? Since when is wiping your ass with newspaper a characteristic of macho macho men? (not that Steve is particularly macho) I mean who would ever do that other than people who simply cannot afford toilet paper?

And Jeff can get on my nerves too, but as soon as I start to get annoyed with him, he does something cute and brings me back in. Patrick is rather boring, I think.

Of all the reasons I hate that show, the way those two talk is number 1. Every single time my mom forces me to watch it I spend the whole time rolling my eyes at their dialogue.

Word on the Dawn hate from BTVS. I couldn't stand her constant whining about how Buffy neglected her. Buffy spent her days working at a crap job so Dawn could eat and spent her nights fighting demons so Dawn could be safe. Yeah, the Buffster was a terrible sister, wasn't she?

Arghh WORD! Rage, blind, white, hot, RAGE! Seriously, this irked me so fucking much. Ungrateful little mole. Don't even get me started on her "this is my house too, you have to leave" shit. Ugh. Are you paying the bills? Do you do anything besides whine and get kidnapped? Silly little blob of energy. Your sister freaking died for you and you actually have the nerve to kick her out. No matter how much of a biatch Buffy was being. That was in excusable, I would NEVER, NEVER do that to a family member. Especially knowing that earlier that day my sister had had her ass handed to her on a plate by a diciple of the shit ass First. Sigh. Oh how I loathe the last two seasons of BTVS. Oh how I loathe that the Scoobies actually had the nerve to kick Buffy out of her own freaking house when not a single one of them (except maybe Xander) was doing anything to contribute to the financial upkeeping of the house. Ugh, and my Kennedy and Rona hate cannot even begin to be described. I seriously cannot watch any of these episodes because my freaking blood pressure goes through the roof.

Other characters I hate? JoeyorangehairedspinelesswhinyPotter. Yet for some odd reason that will never, ever make sense to me, I still shipped the crap out of her and Pacey.

I rented a disc of Alf from Netflix, and gosh that furry alien is annoying. I didn't care for the show too much, and the rest of the cast was so plain and unmemorable. Were they afraid if they had good human characters they would show up the puppet?

TRIPLE WORD to your whole post! Season 7 destroyed my undying love for this show, and is the main reason I wound up selling my DVD's for the show. I hated everyone involved by that point except Spike. No matter what Whedon did to his character, he was still my favorite.
