But Natasha was AWESOME when that happened. "Not only did you ruin my marriage, but now you've ruined. my. lunch." She should have slapped her then, but Natasha had more class. Carrie was also wearing a really awful dress in that one.
I liked when Miranda would call Carrie out for her bullshit...of course, the writers would always have them make up at the end, which was dumb. But still, Miranda calling her out for the constant going-back-to-Big, and the making-Aidan-come-over. Take THAT. And also when she was going to Paris with "The Russian." That (calling him "the Russian" and her "lovah") was annoying. I remember how excited I was that the new season was starting and then she kept calling her her "lovah" and got annoyed.
Samantha and Miranda were the best. I like that while Samantha grew, she never lost her edge, so to speak. And Miranda grew the most as a person in letting her guard down.
While Tatum O'Neal was right in yelling at her about buying too-expensive shoes, I kind of side w/ Carrie here. It's not Carrie's fault that her shoes got stolen. That was her friend's fault for making everybody take them off and not finding out who stole them. And those shoes were damn cute too.
And as far as having a shower for yourself? Do you know how many times I've been tempted by this? Especially now, since at the end of '05 I will have been to 2 or 3 baby showers and FOUR of my closest friends' weddings? Yeah. People, I'm keeping score. And my name is Carrie too.
UGH--the Sexy Swimming Behavior was stupid, but I have Secret Single Behavior too. Like making lists of my CDs over and over again, and having a carpet picnic w/ my jar of Extra Crunchy Jif, Welch's Grape Jam, and a spoon. Good stuff. But the ZA-ZA-ZOO? That had to go. Oy vey, that was BAD.

My Carrie hate is what led me to y'all. I remember that Salon had this article about Carrie being the most hated woman on televison and it linked to TWOP and then from there I found FT and now CPMCoG!!11! ::Carrie Squee::

In the missing shoes episode, I thought both Carrie and Tatum were right for their own reasons, but they were both such massive bitches about it.
I can't believe I forgot one of Carrie's all-time worst moments: when Alek surprised her with that stunning Oscar de la Renta gown that she loved and wanted to take her to the opera and she told him that it was too damned romantic and took him to MacDonald's. Bitch, please.
ETA: I hear that, Carrier. If ever I scrape together the money to buy a condo, I'm throwing a housewarming party and telling everyone that I'm registered at Pottery Barn. I'm bitter about the fact that all my divorced friends have nicer kitchenware than I do just because they got married once.

Where is this TJ Maxx {says the person with size 11 feet}? Topic: I thought Carrie acted like an absolute infant in Paris. Hell, give me a "lovah" like Mikhail Baryshnikov, a posh hotel to call home, and frickin' Paris at my feet and I wouldn't have much to complain about. Also, I wish the whole show could have continued at about the second or third season level, because the storylines weren't annoying me then.

How about the time - I believe it was the Atlantic City ep - when some guys approached Carrie and Charlotte to bring them luck with their dice (I think, it's been a while). Anyway, Charlotte agrees to do whatever it was they asked, and the guys are all like, no we want the HOT one. And Carrie's all ahhh, shucks. Yeah, Carrie's hotter than Charlotte. Only in a world where SJP is the executive producer.

Oh, yes, I was just about to mention the "za za zsu" episode, the "Lovah" crap, Samantha's chemical peel, and Natasha's fabulous response to Carrie's confronting her (and yes, carrier, Carrie Bradshaw had on this hideous dress that looked like newspaper pages, from what I remember).
How about when Carrie told Aidan about Big, right before Charlotte and Trey's wedding? And then got really upset with him when he needed time and space to deal with it? Or when they were living together and engaged, but she would wear his ring as a necklace instead?
Miranda, on the other hand, was awesome. Remember when she was getting married to Steve and was picking out her dress? The salesclerk objected to her not getting a white dress, and she said, "I said no white, no ivory, no nothing that says virgin. I have a child. The jig is up."

I liked Miranda for her directness and her no BS. That was classic example when she went to pick out her wedding dress. I think she is the only one who could really put Carrie in her place too.
I thought it was a classic when Miranda told the rude guy off in Atlantic City when he remarked that she had a big ass and she had a go at him and said she had just had a baby etc. I love that scene.

Carrie totally had her back in that scene, saying she'd just had kids and asking what his excuse was.
I had to defend Carrie because I actually like her.

I like Carrie, too. I mean, yeah, she is flawed but who among isn't? I would take Carrie anyday over Charlotte. But the only one out of the four of them that I'd actually be friends with is Miranda. She was a ballsy bitch with a heart of gold.

Something else to add to the "Carrie is an asshole" list is when she kicks Samantha out of her bath so Carrie can have sex with Big in San Francisco. Carrie herself said she got another room, so why didn't she just use that one?
The whole guilt tripping of Charlotte to lend her money probably bugs me more than anything, though.
