I totally see what you're saying, Ginger. It just seems like Berger was cool and sweet for three or four episodes and then all of the sudden he was bitter jealous guy.
And like I said, I was partially to fully blinded by my love for Ron Livingston.

You know what though? I can accept this...I would rather be frank w/ my closest friends than be fakey. I think that this would be the same reaction that would come out of my mouth if a friend told me this. I'd rather know up front how they really felt about it rather than have them be all oh-yay and then turn around and snicker behind my back.
The cardboard baby, remember that? What was Trey hoping to accomplish there?

I agree, Carrier. If I'm not mistaken, that "Why" was followed-up with concern over the fact that Charlotte and Trey had JUST gotten back together and the fact that their marriage was a mess. I know Charlotte always wanted a baby, but having one with Trey would have been a BAD idea. I'm not sure I'd have been all "Well, that's wonderful!" either.

Oh, the cardboard baby! That was great.
One of my favorite episodes is the one in Season 4 (I think) where Carrie models for the fashion show. I love how she begs to have the "big girl shoes" so she can be tall, and then her reaction to the jacket and sequin underpants outfit. Miranda was shocked that a man found her (Miranda) to be sexy and says, "Sexy? Never. Cute, maybe. Usually I win men over with my personality." and Carrie says, disbelievingly, "you win men over with your personality?" and Miranda responds, "they want you to be a model?"
I also like the one where Carrie dates the guy who lives with his rich parents in a penthouse apartment. They get high and throw fried chicken off the balcony.

And like I said, I was partially to fully blinded by my love for Ron Livingston. I'm right there with you, winncienzo. Yum! I know they were going for the whole relaxed, "writer" vibe with him, but would it have killed them to have him shave? I'm glad Charlotte ended up with Harry. She could be very grating sometimes, but I did like her. I thought Harry was totally adorable, and I liked them together. He let most of her princess behavior just roll off his back. I loved how in the Hamptons episode when he's trying to get her to dance. "I don't have anything in my teeth, my back is waxed, ..." (paraphrasing).

This was both horrifying and hilarious at the same time.
My favorite moment of the series was Miranda's mother's funeral. She's walking down the aisle by herself, Carrie helps her make it the rest of the way and then Steve and Aiden are there at the end. Awww...it makes me teary just thinking about it. I'm very much like Miranda in the way that she had a hard time leaning on and opening up to people. She was very independant and a total control freak and didn't deal with emotions well. So yeah, I can relate. Plus Cynthia Nixon was so awesome as Miranda.

Oh my god! I bawled my eyes out at that episode. When she was in the dressing room, yelling at the lady "I think I know what size bra I wear!!" Aww, poor Miranda. I just love her.
Word on the episode where Carrie dates the stoner that still lives with his parents. They played "stoned" very well. That episode was hysterical.

Miranda had some great lines and Cynthia Nixon delivered them so well. One of my favourites: "I don't need a science lesson from someone doing crop rotation on his forehead." CN had great comic timing, like when Steve said "What's wrong with courdoroy" and she snarked back "I don't have time to tell you what's wrong with courdoroy."
SJP, on the other hand, was awful in her delivery. "I know SHOES" was one of the most painful lines ever. And when she broke down crying when Big had to have surgery? I actually thought Carrie was making fun of him by fake-crying. Some of the worst acting I've ever seen.

Yes, beneciosgal, SJP was just awful in that episode, it's hard for me to watch. I think it was that episode that made me realize that SJP really couldn't act. At all. I do love some of the faces she made. They all made funny faces.

Point taken. I can understand that, and Charlotte shouldn't have had a baby with Trey. I just felt bad for her, and thought that someone should have been at least a teensy bit happy for her.
I'm always amazed that Charlotte would be friends with the girls- they always seem to treat her more as a little sister than as a friend.
