I agree with you there. Despite the fact that I think Carrie is awful and can't imagine why anyone would want to be her friend, it was Charlotte who seemed like the odd one out in the foursome. I could never quite figure out why she'd want to hang out with them and they with her. I mean, you'd never have three women talking about golden showers and tea-bagging and then have a fourth constantly piping in with stuff like "Wait, what's a fuck-buddy?" It made no sense to me.

That's SO true. Except every once in awhile, she would come out with a shocker herself. Like the one time she admitted that Trey liked the ol' finger in the asshole.

Didn't he like dirty talk, too?

The best part of Trey and Charlotte's sex life was when Charlotte found out that her husband liked magazines like Juggs, so she pasted her face onto the pictures of the models

I also like that, when Miranda was asking about reciprocating the anal thing, Samantha is like, DEAD serious and is like, "No. Never." I don't know why that made me laugh so hard.
"I'm gonna need to talk to someone!"
I also love that one for the use of "Got to Be Real" at the end. Every time I hear that song I think of that episode and I do a little shimmy.
The Miranda's-mother-dies episode is one of my favorite, and I have to be careful about when I watch it. It makes me BAWL. As does the last episode at the end, for reasons unknown. And the one when Charlotte loses the baby. AND the one when Aidan breaks up w/ Carrie (the first time).
Yeah, I'm a schmuck. What of it?

Word on the episode where Carrie dates the stoner that still lives with his parents. They played "stoned" very well. That episode was hysterical. Haha, that was so funny. What other episodes were there where they smoked pot? There was the one where she had just gotten dumped with the post it and she got Samantha to find her a joint. They were smoking it on the curb, she turned around, and a cop drove right up and arrested her! Also, another Carrie Is A Bitch moment: the "country" episode where she is staying at Aiden's cottage in the country in Connecticut. Big calls whining about the actress girlfriend he was dating dumping him, and Carrie invites him all the way out to Aiden's country house. Then Big was completely rude to Aiden. I think it's just asshole behavior for her to invite her ex that she cheated on her current boyfriend with, to her new boyfriend's country house, and expect him to be fine with it (even if she was friends with Big).

Thanks for reminding me of that one, deliqueen. I'll add it to my list of assholic Carrie conduct.
She really is a piece of work, that Carrie. She cheats on Aidan with Big, then tells Aidan about it when the affair is already over and divulging the secret will do no good other than making her feel better, then she harasses him and convinces him to take her back (I still can't believe she looked all shocked and horrified and ran away when he yelled at her that she broke his heart). Then, when they're finally back together and things are going well, she insists on remaining friends with Big, rubs the friendship in Aidan's face and even puts Aidan in a position where he has to see Big and put him up for the night. Craaazy.
The other annoying thing is that Carrie was so unwilling to even try to adapt to Aidan's lifestyle. He had a country home and wanted to share it with her, but she's all "No way, I'm a city girl and I'm not going anywhere without my overpriced shoes and shit." I mean, how many times did he indulge her, hanging out in martini bars and stuff. Why couldn't she just put on a pair of sneakers and enjoy herself with him for one weekend? Sheesh. (Of course, if he'd had a super-swanky place in the country, where she wouldn't have had to get dirty, I'm sure she would have loved it).

With the exception of in the gym, I don't think any of these women would wear sneakers in public. Remember when Samantha wore those heels to go talk with the tranny hookers? Who just keeps $600 shoes lying around by the front door for running out on a quick errand?
Did we ever see what Aiden saw in Carrie? Did he ever say, "Carrie I like you because of X"?
I'm just full of questions today!

I never watched the show on it's original run, so I caught up with episodes on TBS. Everytime Carrie comes on screen I get angry. How could any of the girls want to be friends with somebody so self involved? Who knows, maybe it's me, but like somebody said upthread, I hated how they went to Carrie with all their problems. Why?! She'd always just fucking make it about her anyway (I've only been watching since season 4 and on though so maybe she was different in the beginning).
Methinks I'll rent the DVDs this weekend, so I can see all the good sex.
Oh and is it me or did things move incredibly fast on this show? Does TBS not air all the episodes or something? Like with Charlotte and Harry, one episode she's disgusted by him, the next she's in love with him and is considering changing her religion for him. How could you do that with somebody you knew for only 2 weeks?! It bugged.

Just to help you with the time line, bobblehead, the Hamptons episode (where Harry tells Charlotte he has to marry a Jew) was the season finale, so if you watched it in the original time, much more time had passed. A fact which obviously is lost in reruns.
