Yes. As frustrating as the show might have been, it was being widely watched and discussed every single week, so I'm not surprised it's getting renewed. Same. And I'll be hating-watching again, I confess.

I never watched the original or the reboot, but reading the commentary here has been darned entertaining! Weirdly, interesting in a sort of academic way - y'all have some really cool insights

...And Just Like That, we have a new trailer, which gives a little more of a hint as to why Aiden is back. Lots of fashion, too. Also, Kim Cattrell coming back for a cameo without any of the other characters is intriguing, too! Should we get a name change for this thread???

Is she going to be speaking on the phone to the other characters like in Three's Company when Suzanne Somers was ostracized from the rest of the cast? Yes! She did, in fact, speak on the phone only, and had no contact with the actor playing the character on the other end of the line (Carrie, presumably). I read that her other condition was that Michael Patrick King could not be on set either. I have not yet read what her motivation was for doing this cameo, other than money. But maybe she wanted to right the character assassination of Samantha that took place last season.
