Where is the link to V? Our history teacher showed the Threads movie-I don't think we saw all of it, but it freaked me the hell out. It took me months to get that out of my head.
Here are some freaky X-Files Moments-remember the one about the guy who only dated fat women, for well, their fat? And remember how he killed his landlady and her blind daughter came looking for her in his apt? I thought he was gonna kill her too.
And that episode about the guy-he later played that surgeon everyone hated on ER-that only attacked people with cancer? The scene that sent me was when Mulder was sitting on the edge of the bathtub that was filled with some nasty brown/red liquid. He gets up and that guy surfaces out of it. Ick.
Also, the ep where that is that fluke worm creature- and the guy that is attacked by it coughs up a fluke worm in the shower. Blech.

That was disgusting, but Timothy Carhart really rocked that part.

I am surprised that everyone is overlooking the granddaddy of all Disturbing Tv Moments. The very special episode of Different Strokes where Arnold's best friend gets molested.

Oh, gosh, or the Punky Brewster ep where Cherry gets locked in the refrigerator at the dump and no one cna find her. I feel a panic attack coming on, just thinking about her running out of air in the dark.

Gordon Jump was the pedophile? Heavens to Murgatroyd, I've been scarred for life. Remember Melrose Place, when Marcia Cross' character comes back from the dead, has sex with Micheal and then whips off her wig, revealing that gnarly ass scar?

I love Cold Case but lately the episodes have been really bothering me. Maybe I'm getting more sensitive in my old age, but kidnapped kids trying to swim home then drowning, run-over dog limping over to lay next to kind, yet dead alcoholic woman, etc, etc....just sticks with me.
Doesn't mean I won't stop watching it though...

Ugh, I have been too disturbed by my memories of that moment to post that, Bones; that was terrible.

Did anyone ever see that tv movie, Dark Night of the Scarecrow, about a retarded man who was unjustly accused of killing a young girl? The guy then comes back disguised as a scarecrow to kill of those that did him in. Creepy as hell.

Wow, freaky veronicamars! I was just thinking about that movie this morning. The season finale of Carnivale reminded me of it. Doesn't he try hiding in the scarecrow when his attackers are after him? I remember seeing his scared eyes through the burlap scarecrow face. I think that part was scarier than his revenge. Yikes.
ETA: I'm sorry, Smilla. I feel like I dredged up some kind of repressed memory for you.
