Are you talking about WE? Because that's where I get my L&O fixes and they're currently on Season 1. It's crazy to think that was 25 years ago.

Two Broke Girls. Why, just why? From my stand point, because of Kat Dennings girls. Now if only Jennifer Coolidge's character would go back to Poland. She has totally destroyed the legend of Stifler's mom.

The Law and Order channel I get has recently started over with season 1 of the Original flavor. I preferred the original to SVU, and I miss the older detectives. Paul Sorvino was a great partner for Chris Noth. OMG. There's a channel dedicated to Law & Order? And it's showing Original Recipe from season one? *has the vapors* I would have that on constantly if I had access to it. Hahaha. I so miss my American Sunday morning routine: viewing This Week, CBS Sunday Morning and then Law & Order Original Recipe while perusing newspapers/magazines online and usually having pancakes or French toast for breakfast. *sigh* I don't think it's officially the L & O channel, but that seems to be what they show for about 20 hours a day. As far as I can tell, the other four hours are dedicated to infomercials. No need to be envious. eta- I think it is WE, scarlet. I was cracking up last night at the very old police cars. 25 years does seem crazy.

I'm still envious, mrspickles. Also because I can't get my House Hunters fix here. That's what I miss about the USA - the TV channels/shows. Haha.

Come to the Netherlands, sardonictart. We have a Travel Channel that shows the International House Hunters pretty regularly. They even did an episode here in Utrecht and it turned out I had met the girl a few times. I feel like I also see L&O in one form or another somewhere amid all the channels, but as it's a show I've somehow never watched, I'm not as positive.

I miss background TV. We only get British channel packages here and some of the content is good, but a lot of it is not. Americans really do know how to do TV - both trash and critically-acclaimed entertainment can be found in abundance. I YouTube a lot for background TV, and then stream the stuff that I actually want to watch. I love that you can stream/download anything legally here. It's awesome! And I do still pay for some content: the shows I really enjoy and like to repeat are on my iPad.

Dear lord, both NCIS and L&O SVU are coming back next year. Don't even get me started on Supernatural. Kill it! Kill it with fire!

I'd kind of like for SVU to beat Gunsmoke but that's about the best I can say at this point. Once it crosses the finish line, put it out of its misery.
