My problem with Sherlock is that he's portrayed as the exact opposite to the original character. A man with such a detailed and instinctive knowledge of human psychology that he can instantly read a person's emotional state and deduce the psychological reasons for their behaviour is turned into a man so obtuse he's genuinely baffled that a woman would be sad over the death of her child even though it happened "ages ago."
I dislike the whole "autistic Sherlock" thing in general, but to extend it to "autistic" = "total ignorance of the fact humans sometimes have things called feelings" invalidates the whole point. And now Moffat's made the Doctor into an "autistic genius" who has zero ability to comprehend emotion too.

I think Shonda Rhimes is a hack. Her shows start off well, then just descend into the absurd.

Maybe because I'm in LA, but everyone I talk to seems to think she walks on water and is a genius.

I'm sick and tired of charismatic anti-heroes. I don't care if the actor is handsome and charming, if he's a psychopath, I'm not going to like him and I'm not going to excuse his actions.

And the middle-aged man child genre (tried watching Flaked with Will Arnett) is getting super tiresome.

What I really hate about the middle-aged man child is that the wife is put in the unenviable position of being a nagging mommy-wife who has to discipline him, monitor his eating, choose his clothes, etc. She's always portrayed as a sour killjoy who constantly ruins his fun. Heaven forbid that she expects a grown man to not dress like a teenaged slob, and not kill himself with poor food.
