I love how nobody's even talking about last night's episode, it was that boring. Anyway. My former favorite show is going quickly down the tubes, and that makes me sad. But at least Jack Bristow is still awesome.

ITA on Jack. I think it would be awesome if he turned out to be the evil mastermind behind everything.
As bad as that prosthetic nose on Syd was, I had to appreciate the effort, because no matter what kind of crazy day-glo wig, sequined cocktail dress or mod go-go boots they put on her, she still looks exactly. like. herself.

I used to be so excited for this show. Then I realized Wednesday night that despite the hotness of Vaughn and the hotness/kickassness of Jack, I really don't care whether I watch this show anymore.
I was bored to tears by the Syd "Retrieve the WoMD of the Week" plotline - didn't they already do that one? I was semi-intrigued by Vaughn's EvilDaddy story, and really enjoyed Jack's plotline.
But seriously, if they keep doing the Syd-and-Dixon think Sloan is evil but no one believes them plot again and again, but he really is evil, I'm done.
Oh, and will someone please put a bullet in Nadia? She's become a huge black hole of suck.

Man, last night's episode was subtitle heavy. Muchas gracias, Senora Michaels y Senora Fleming---I was watching on a small tv and couldn't really see the subtitles, but I caught the jist of the conversations. I had no idea I actually retained my long-ago Spanish lessons.
Was it just me, or did Sonja Braga (the orphanage lady) give the camera a scary, sinister look when she asked Agent Hot Pants about Spy Skipper at the end of the episode? Looks like The Dragon Lady (I think that was what Theo and Cockroach called her on that Math is Hard episode of The Cosby Show) is harboring some ill will for our little spy sister. I betcha she was involved (groinally, perhaps in a spyish way, too) with Roberto, the corrupt Spy Skipper recruiter. Revenge is a dish best served cold and all that...nobody kills The Dragon Lady's lovah!

I love Mia Maestro. Her face is so expressive. Last night was a great eppy for her.

I usually hate Nadia, but I actually enjoyed last night's episode. I found myself engrossed in the story of her life. And it didn't help that Roberto and Cesar were hot.
Still lovin' Vaughn's story. And still hatin' Syd. I don't know when it happened, but she sucks the life out of every scene she's in.

The spark is gone between Vaughn and Syd. So they should just get married already. Married spies might be more interesting. Then they could have spy-babies and find out that Arvin implanted the embryos and he is the father. And that they (the babies) look just like a sketch on a newly discovered Rambaldi document. And they have birthmarks of the winning lotto numbers on their butts.

Hey WoopdeDoo, how did you get the storyline notes for next season? Super-secret spy mission, I hope!
Seriously, I fear you're closer than you realize with that Sloan as Baby-Daddy stuff. I'm sick with worry about where they're going to go with that (temporarily abandoned) stolen eggs storyline. No matter what they do with it, it can't end well. (But I'd like to know where I can get me a baby with some winning lottery number tattoos.)
I agree, StillMeCholo, I usually have no use for the Nadia character, but last night's episode was enjoyably non-annoying. Mia Maesrto did a great job, especially considering that horribly distracting bob-wig she was sporting. Up till last night I felt like Nadia was a charater they created to wrap-up the Rambaldi stuff and kept because she was hot, not because she was an asset to the show. But after this last episode, I'm a lot more optimistic about keeping her around. Not 100% on-board, but no longer hostile.
I used to love feisty, kick-ass Spy Barbie, with the angst, the secret life, the charisma and the conflicted-ness. But now she's just boring, whiney Sydney with a government job that requires travel and occasional heavy-lifting.

I totally agree, foxy, Syd needs to have a semblance of a normal life with friends who know nothing about the spy world. It made for good tension and angst. Now, everyone in her world is a spy.
Maybe she should marry Will, instead. Then have one baby with him who is pure as the driven snow, and another one engineeered by Arvin who is malevolent and evil.

I was actually pretty intrigued by Nadia's story last night. Normally, I don't give a damn about her but her story was interesting. And I must say, Mia Maestro looked cute with that short bob.
And word on that dude Cesar being hot.
Was it just me or did the dude who played Roberto look sort of like Robert Downey, Jr.? I know it wasn't him but they both have the same bug eyes.
