I'm tired of watching Sanz laugh at himself, but I like Parnell and Forte can be good in certain things. So - Yay! but also Boo! if it is all true.

I'm glad they are getting rid of Sanz, but Parnell is actually funny. SNL would be silly to let him go.

Sanz needed to leave ages ago - he has never brought anything to the table but Parnell is hilarious! Although he isn't as talented as Will Farrell, Phil Hartman or Darrell Hammond (or maybe he just hasn't had the opportunities presented to those performers), he has that sort of everyday guy persona that works well for most any sketch. He is really talented and I hope that if he leaves it is of his own accord and not because he was let go. His small part in Anchorman was one of the funniest things in the whole movie ("Poop mouth!").
ETA: I guess a lot of people feel the same way. Heh.

Couldn't care less if Sanz was dumped but I will miss Parnell and Forte's the Falconer if it's true.

I never warmed to Will Forte as President Bush, but he's made me laugh plenty of times (Tim Calhoun!) so I'm sad to see him go, if it's true.

Now that I think about it, it seems like (if this is true) this is the second time that SNL wanted to get rid of Parnell. The first time they didn't do it because Will Ferrell stood up for him.
I haven't heard anything about the producers not liking him, and he obviously at least had Will Ferrell's respect, so I don't know if it is personal. But I don't think the producers at SNL are often the smartest bunch, and they probably want to get rid of him because he doesn't have the big goofball characters some of the others do and they don't see his value.

Will Forte is my sooper-sekrit Saturday night boyfriend, so I'm sad about that one, but good riddance to Sanz.

Somebody over at The Olde Site once called him "Horatio Sanz Talent," and that moniker has stuck here at Chez Ripley.

Yay, this means no more "CAROL!" skits! He could never keep his shit together. I will miss Parnell and Forte if they're gone. Parnell is very versatile and funny. In that recent list of Will Ferrell's top skits, the #1 skit in which Ferrell was the boss from hell, featured Parnell as an employee who tried to get revenge. Their interaction had me laughing so hard I was almost gasping for air. I could imagine both of them succeeding in a sitcom, unlike Horatio Sanz Talent
