I've been watching the return of Niz from 2013-2014. Man, I miss their scenes together: angst, spark, snark, sweetness. *sigh* The actors are just at their best with each other. Tyler Christopher is particularly touching in his scenes with RH. Watching these old scenes now helps sell Nik's support of Liz and Jason now. Nik really will do anything for Liz - their relationship is unhealthy, but fabulous TV.
I also miss AJ and Carly sparring; Ric and Alexis sparring. There was a lot of snark between them all. I've been seriously enjoying these GH reruns. I also loved Duke and Anna. Man, the show was actually better then, and that's largely because GH characters were at the center and not randoms.
Please new writers bring Niz back. I know they are not popular with everyone, but I can't stand Greenlee's character and Liason is boring me.
Oh, I forgot one thing Kelly Monaco is really doing a good job selling both her continued mourning for Jason and her love for Patrick.

I can see the Sonny and Carly with Sarah Brown being iconic enough to be included, but not the current version. Sultry passion is not Laura Wright's thing.

The show is trying to make public breast feeding a SL: Mayor Lomax is offended when Olivia goes to feed her son during a meeting between the two women at Metrocourt.

Have there been recent budget cuts? On Thursday, Morgan had obvious hat head. ( He looked like he just rolled out of bed in general, but the hat head was pretty noticeable from the back)

I think there have been some cuts. We haven't seen Brad's wife in ages, for example. Not that I miss her. Hating the Hayden storyline. Full stop.
Little Jake is creepy, and the only thing I'm looking forward to right now is the Julexis wedding. Hopefully, it's not a bloodbath.

I love a good creepy kid story, but the actor who plays Jake isn't up for the task and ruins it for me. I know it's hard to find quality actors in that age group who can play something other than cute, but if there's a storyline where the child is a main character, it's important to go the extra mile with casting. The little girl who plays Emma has managed to keep her job for so long because she can carry a scene. Which reminds me, I've been barely watching for a while now. Is Spencer still moping around raging and whining over being deformed? |

I haven't seen Spencer in ages, and I watch every day. He's talked about as though he's in the house, but he's not been on camera. Emma, Robyn and Patrick left for California (they are all off the show now though perhaps Emma will visit) so the actress that played Emma isn't on anymore either. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Cameron or Aidan in ages either. Little Jake ate the show (just like the shitty actor/character before him).
Ooh - have a bit of gossip to share. Apparently, Kelly Monaco (Sam) and Billy Miller (Jakeson) are an item in real life. I love this more than I should. Ha.
