I wish they would settle on a cast and stick with it. All this coming and going. And going and coming...and always too soon. Sorry, channeling Madeline Kahn again. But seriously, I keep looking for Ted McGinley to show up.

When House said "If you die, I'm alone" that just about broke my heart. He's growing up! And Wilson snapping up the condo Cuddy didn't get was all kinds of awesome, "She hurt my friend. She must be punished." I love you Wilson!

Okay, THIS. I don't follow this show as closely as I used to -- Hugh Laurie has pretty blue eyes but life is too short to watch so many unpleasant people be so unpleasant to each other on a regular basis -- but I'm fascinated by The Phenomenon That Is Huddy. Are people serious about this? Is it true that not only do people care whether this angry, mean man and his needy and under-competent boss hook up, but they're even actively rooting for it to happen? Seriously? I mean, I love a good ship as much as anyone, but I just can't wrap my mind around this one. Is it because they're both attractive people? Do people hate Cuddy so much that they WANT her to be with a man who lies to her, undermines her at every opportunity, plays stupid petty games with her, makes inappropriate sexual comments to her in the office, and has been known to -- more than once -- heap outright scorn and abuse on her head? I find the whole thing depressing, to be honest, but who knows -- maybe I'm missing something. Help me understand! What is so special about these two people that they've just GOT to be together?

I don't get it either, but the Huddy people are dead serious and kinda scary. There were all these posts on Ew.com after the season premiere about how the writers had "cheapened" or "tarnished" Huddy by having House get it on with Franka Potente. It seems to have ramped up since last season, because I don't remember the Huddy people being so annoying before that. Many people feel the need to pair up any single leads of TV shows, and since Cameron's downgrade to recurring character Cuddy became the leading female ergo she belongs with House!!!! Or something. I've never "shipped" anyone so I really don't care.

When House said "If you die, I'm alone" that just about broke my heart. That and the fact that he rubbed his leg right after saying it. It was so subtle but said so much. I still can't believe House isn't popping Vicodin anymore. And I don't get The Huddy either. Exactly! That's the way I see it too. But the Huddy people seem to think that means he really, really loves her. I haven't been this annoyed by shippers since the Prison Break "Michael+Sara4ever11!!1!" folks.

Sorry for the double post, but... am I the only one who saw Wilson proposing to House last night? OMG! I bet a thousand shippers spontaneously combusted! That whole thing was so funny - a lot funnier than Foreman's prank. Absolutely adored Nick Chinlund guest-starring. There was so much going on there, it didn't even need to be spoken. But whoever cut Jesse Spencer's hair should be arrested. Won't someone think of The Pretty?

The fake gay subplot was so freakin' funny, the proposal was so sweet.
And this is the first time I've seen Nick Chinlund and not seen Donnie Pfaster. Thank goodness for the middle age spread and grey hair!

I had to re-watch the proposal scene a few times--classic. And Wilson's "I love this man!" declaration right before was priceless. The idea of House having an Evita listening party was hysterical. "The London and New York recordings are so different!" And this is the first time I've seen Nick Chinlund and not seen Donnie Pfaster. A little part of me was still expecting him to ask Scully if her hair is color-treated.
