All the military guys I have met something wrong with them.Cheating, lying, and murder,so Christina should run like the wind! IMHO, that's a wildly unfair statement. I have two good friends who were in the military, one as an officer and one as an enlisted man, and they're two of the most rock solid family men I've ever met. I agree. And even though I see Owen's problems and that he needs help, that doesn't mean there is something so fundamentaly wrong with him that he's capable of cheating, lying or murdering. And if people should run each time they meet someone who may have problems of some kind, there would be a lot more lonely people in this world.

I think it's a pretty good generalization of people in the military. (Coming from a woman that grew up in a city with an Army base and an Air Force base.) It seems like the "rock solid family men" are the exception to the rule. So, is Denny gone?! Boooo!

To broad stroke any profession like that is unconscionable and demeaning. Sorry, but that's honestly what I believe. ETA: Sorry, the quotation here doesn't make it apparent to what I was responding. Here it is.

Military brat here. Anything that gets attention to PTSD and its effects is fine by me. We had a whole generation that grew up having to walk on eggshells when Dad came back from 'Nam with problems, and dammit, there is NO EXCUSE for putting another generation of kids through that, esp. since we know better.
Before Dad was a rehab counselor in the civilian world, he was in Social Actions, which is the military equivalent of an EAP.

Is anyone still watching? I sure hope so, because last night's episode was amazing.
Justin Chambers was so, so good! I'm so happy he's getting to shine. He made me cry like a baby during the breakdown scene with Meredith, and his scenes with Izzie.
The Derek/Meredith proposal scene was very sweet...and this is coming from someone who HATES them together.
Bailey kicked ass...The Chief was great.
A Callie/George scene, where they talked about their past.
Owen/Cristina were very good too.
I hope Izzie doesn't die... I want my Alex/Izzie happy ending!!!

I'm still watching! I agree last night's episode was quite good and the best show of the season so far.
Owen strangling Christina was pretty intense and pretty disturbing. Granted Owen is not Chris Brown and is suffering from a real disorder but yikes. I do think Christina made the right decision to end the relationship since up to that point he has been refusing help. I'm guessing Meredith's therapist shows up in the next new episode.
I admit I'm still a Meredith/Derek fan (mainly because of Ellen/Patrick's chemistry and not because of the writing) so I found their little moments sweet. The proposal was lovely and very them. Plus, I appreciate that Derek finally admitted he needs Meredith and told her darky twisty nature has made her a stronger person.
The Chief wasn't annoying! Yay! Bailey was acting like Bailey again! YAY!
While KH can annoy me and Izzie gets on my nerves I do want Izzie to live for Alex's sake. Izzie is at her best when she's with Alex. It's like her self-righteousness disappears!

Who watched? I'm still a sobbing mess. Alex/Izzie scenes were amazing. And George walking her down the aisle, Mere being the best man, Christina/Owen... *sigh*

I've stuck with GA through all the crap just for Alex/Izzie. Tonight was perfect. From the wedding (George, the vows, the kiss, the guests' mix of sadness and happiness) to the hair coming out along with the flower barrette to "My wife is hot." It was all perfect, and I admit, I cried.
