Oh, I thought it was OK. The autopsy bit was incredibly stupid, as was the whole everyone busting in on the roommate with the syphilis. But the Shepherd's wife bit? I totally expected it and I still thought it was great.

And as stupid as the autopsy bit was I loved the attending's reaction. That said, I am not too invested because I can't remember most of the characters' names.

I give this show a fair amount of credit for its strides towards casting diversity. These characters are more racially diverse than most tv shows, plus the producers went out on a limb and gave the major speaking role to a woman with a speech impediment. Who says people with disabilites can't make it on tv?

I only watch for Katherine. I like the fact that Oh's character is kind of bitchy, but I couldn't actually watcher her because she comes off holier than thou. I did like that scene where they ask her to translate chinese and she tells them she is Korean.

I like this show a lot though - I like all of the characters and, quite frankly, I might want to marry Patrick Dempsey should he ever get divorced.

The show has only just started here in Australia and so far I really like it. The characters are good and I esp like Dr Derek Shepherd, but he needs more screen time!

I saw it! I thought it was a good episode - if not a little too eventful. Very surprised by Mrs. Shepard - but her character is pretty cool actually. I'm proud of Meredith though - at the end she stood her ground and decided not to settle. Plus now I can have Dr. McDreamy. :-)

Did they change actresses who played Mrs Shepard?

I thought it was funny that they did almost the same surgery
that House did earlier this week.
